Thumbs up more cookies...

cindyr68, Congratulations on your weight loss and thanks for the input. I lost 15 lbs on my cookie diet but had to stop because I was going on a cruise.(did the 21 day plan) I'm now thinking of going back on it but want to consider other cookie diets. I found it convenient to not have to worry about what I'm going to eat and just grab a cookie. I wanted to Private message you to see which diet you're on but I can't until you post at least 15 posts, I think. Well my other detour to starting my cookie diet again is that I'm allergic to soy and they contain soy...
I wonder why the name of your cookie diet is being blocked. Does anyone know?

Raquel - We often get diet companies that try to spam us and abuse the rules so they are often blocked.

Hey guys. Me again. Wanted to come back and share...
First off, I lost 30 lbs right away back around June. I haven't lost any more weight but I haven't been trying either. I don't know how to explain it but ever since I went on the *** Diet Cookies I haven't been obsessing over food anymore! I've just had a wonderful summer where food wasn't a major concern (good or bad!). More importantly, I haven't gained any of the weight back! I feel great. I look great. My clothes look so much better on me. I wore a bathing suit at the coast for the first time in 15 years! If I lose the rest of my goal weight, great... but if I don't, I think I will be fine with that too. 50 lbs would have made me really thin. Now I just look healthy.
I still use the cokkies most days... I start the day with 1 or 2. I found that when I start with them, the rest of the day I'm not craving or even thinking about food. I acually feel better when I use them. must be the fiber or something. I just feel healthier. Like I said, it's hard to explain. I just am so thankful that I finally found something that has given be back control!!! I recommend them to anyone who is tired of the losing and re-gaining cycle. (especially if you are carb-addicted). I am so somfortable with my eating now... I know I will never gain those 30 lbs back!

Hi Everyone. I started the smart for life diet january 9 2009 and i lost about 50 pounds by june. I felt great, looked great! Tons of compliments! But then I just couldnt keep going. I know this works and I want to stay on it but I am having such trouble! Its so easy and convenient but I need to get back motivated again. Can anyone give me suggestions? Ive gained 20 pounds back since June and Im so depressed! If I can lose those 20 pounds again and maybe go for an extra 20 I would be so happy but I just hate going back and forth!!

HI Egiptola,
You are not alone. I did the same diet and lost weight but now I can't bring myself to eating more of those cookies. I can't even tolerate the smell. I'm looking for something else that works just as well and is just as easy. For now I'm happy that since March I have not gained what I've lost. I play with a pound or two back and forth but not more. I really want to get over this hump. CindyR68 just gave me the name of the cookies she tried, maybe I'll try those. Keep reading through 3FC's, everyone's posts are very motivational and inspiring. That's what I do when I get down on myself about not losing anymore weight. Good Luck to you.

Wow-lots of successes on the cookie diets! I just purchased a one month supply from an online store- 6 cookies a day and one well balanced meal. Does this cookie diet sound familiar to anyone? I am interested to know how other people are doing on it. Can't wait to start!

It sounds like I got the same one as you did Talka. Costco had it on sale at $80 off for a 42 day supply. It is a mix of cookies, muffins, shakes, and soups. My starting weight on day 1 was 217.8. That was Wednesday morning. Today, 4 days later, I weighed in at 212.4. That is a pretty good result so far if you ask me.

The cookies and muffins are rather dry unless you warm them up as recommended for 8-10 seconds. Warm or cold I do need a full glass of water to get them down. They do not taste bad but so far every product has the same kind of after taste. So far I have only tried one of the flavors of shakes and it was much better than I expected. I tried the vanilla flavor that is mixed in the blender. I have not tried the bottle shake that has some sort of syrup in it.

I like it because I don't have to think and plan what I am going to eat. It is a rather thoughtless process. This has had a rare sort of side effect for me. For once I am on a "diet" and not obsessing about food at all. The cookies are quite filling so before I know it, it is time for another one. I have also found that when I do eat regular food it does not take much to fill me up at all.

This is some thing I believe I can stick to. My plan is to use it to get through the holidays without gaining any weight and hopefully actually losing weight. I ordered another 42 day supply this evening and that will last me until mid January.

Good luck to anyone else who is trying a similar plan. I would be interested in hearing from others who are having success or are struggling with this plan.

Hi all. I am new to this site...although I did sign up a lonnnnnnnng time ago... long enuf I cannot remember my sign in name

Saturday I started the cookie diet...whew...I said it in public. I am a food addict and I have always said "If only I never had to eat" I LOVE Cookies and even had a poster in my college dorm room from the cartoon Cathy that said broken cookies have fewer calories! (is that dating me? lol)

I felt like I needed a place to come and talk about this diet and all my feelings that have been happening. Before this I thought A LOT about the surgery. I weigh almost 260 and I am 5 foot tall. I have been getting winded and tying my shoes has been difficult...so I researched and decided 2 try this out.

Eating and cooking and planning and blah blah blah is something I know how to do. Like most of us I am sure. I think I could write a book.

For me...this diet has been helping me to understand how important "feeding my body is" vs just putting food in my mouth at any whim. Also, I am not good at planning and cooking and making sure I have healthy and appropriate food. I like this no food the best! LOL I know I will need to learn to incorporate all the food facts in my life...but for today I feel like I can't. But I can eat a cookie every 2 hours and eat one meal a day...for today.

Let me tell you though...I have been HUNGRY. Holy buckets...anyone that tells you that you will not be hungry on this diet is CRAZY!

Thanks 4 listening. I look forward to listening 2 your stories and sharing my stories too.

Cathy

Where r the Cookie Diet People? Am I the only crazy one doing this? Please share your stories. I am on week 2. I lost 4 lbs the 1st week. This structure is the best for me today. I can do 2 hours. For the most part I am not having white knuckles to NOT EAT. Although I have been hungry! Yesterday was a white knuckle day. My hope for today that I will be more peaceful.

SHOUT OUT TO ALL THE COOKIE DIET FOLKS...share PLEASE!

Cool Off the wagon

Hi Everyone,
Well, I started the cookie diet in March this year. I did really well while I was on it . Lost 15 pounds in less than two months. I loved the diet and wish I could stay on it. I purchased another 40 some days worth and everytime I start it I can handle the first cookie fine, but I can't for the life of me eat the second. The taste and the smell make me sick. I've tried psyching myself out many times. Every time I open a new package the same thing happens. (I end up throwing it away) I'm very sad because this diet really works. I've kept the weight off, but a few pounds are starting to creep up on me and I'm terrified, especially with the holidays coming up. I know I tend to eat more during the winter too. Hot chocolate, coffee or tea with a sweet something, etc. I'm sure you know what I'm talking about. I had hoped to have lost at least another 15 lbs by Christmas but I just can't stick to any diet. I haven't been able to exercise either because I've had the flu for what seems forever and I run out of breath easily. At this point I'm so discouraged and unmotivated. I still have to try the other cookie diet other people have mentioned here on 3fc.

For those of you that just started the cookie diet, I wish you the best and stay on it as long as you can. Do not take long breaks, I think that's what hurt me. It does work.
P.S. If you have a diet that has works for you... pleeeease send me it. I'm willing to try any diet at this point.

I started the Smart for Life cookies Yesterday. They aren't that bad at all. I like the chocolate chip ones the best. The chocolate muffins aren't bad either. Of course, they aren't a bean and cheese burrito I've been wanting, but they are tolerable to me. My mom is also doing this diet w/ me. We also started jazzercise this week. We shall see what happens. I would love to hear from others on this same diet.
