I spent a fortune
On a trampoline,
A stationary bike
And a rowing machine
Complete with gadgets
To read my pulse,
And gadgets to prove
My progress results,
And others to show
The miles I've charted,
But they left off the gadget
To get me started!

Hey Tammy, how are you feeling? Yeah to your weight loss!! Finally started doing taxes. Brad's business! I actually enjoy that kind of work. We can go to the Celtic Festival today but I have been weary-it may be the antibiotic that I take. Or the fact that we never stop going. Had a Walmart holiday-met Mike and his family and shopped together and then ate at McDonald's. It is supposed to shower today but doesn't look it. We planted grass seed so I was hoping. Bye for now. Mima, I'm doing ok. The little bandages are starting to come off, so all that will be holding me together will be super glue (or whatever it was they put on after the stitches!)

Taxes! Oh boy! We were talking last night that we aren't sure how to do the taxes.
Our son has been owrking at Arby's for a year now. Can we still claim him, but he can get a refund for what he has paid in? He is 16.

Celtic Festival sounds like fun. Wal Mart! My favorite place!! Hey, I ate at McDonald's today. Cheeseburger and Vanilla shake. So much for a diet meal!!

Default Hey There

Tammy- You are brave! I haven't eatten anything at McDonalds but salads in 5 years. My hubby has fallen in lust with Burger Kings Whopper. I would not dare..He says he has to have one once a week.. I have to just say no thanks. I like salads .
We have a easy way of doing taxes.. Wrap up everything needed and take it to H R Block.. In a couple days they call and tell us how much we owe.. I think my hubby tried to do them once in 51 years.. He said to heck with that..My sister-in-law is real good at doing them..She does them for the poor (free) every year. But she lives in Az.
Two more weeks and my son will be married.. I went shopping and got the hubby a new Jacket and tie.He sure did not make it easy.. He hates to buy clothes. Tooooo Baaaad! Now I need to go out and get him a shirt. The ones he has will not go with the jacket..No problem..
Mima- I hope you are feeling better...
Hello everybody...Joanne

I eat the Whopper juniors. I also like salads.

I've done our taxes for most of the years that we've been married. Went to HRBlock once when we sold our old house and bought this one. I was totally confused!

It's snowing here again. Icy in spots on the roads. I just looked out, and it's foggy too. Yuck.

Tammy-I think you can still claim him. I had a problem with Block one time -I knew more than they did. WE have an acct-I think it's worth it if you itemize. For the business it's necessary and he goes to Brad's church so he's not expensive. For next year, save all your stuff in a shoebox as it comes in. Then separate. I have folders that I file things in. Charity-medical etc. That's because of the business. You better be able to claim your son because there is a tax credit of 1000. My girlfriend just did hers. We are math teachers so we like to do this stuff but there are new laws every year so we go to an acct. Hope you guys don't get that ice storm. Where is Candice. I feel good today-finally got some sleep. And I am not constip[ated. That will make my day. Mima

WHAT ICE STORM?????????????? Maybe I need to check the weather? We went to church this morning, played a CD in the van, haven't had radio or TV on all day. I DON'T WANT MORE ICE OR SNOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OK, I'll calm down now. Hey, not constipated is a great feeling, isn't it?

I've been drinking too much "real" pop lately. Need to stick with the Diet stuff. I don't know why I do it.

No ice here ... yet! Supposed to warm up. I could use some warmth! It's 38 out right now according to TV. Wind chill 35. MY chill about 0! Hubby took my blood sugar count (what ever it's called) with his little meter thingie a few minutes ago and it freaked him out. We just came home from eating at Logan's and his was over 200 and he had to take a pill ... I was just goofin' off and said here, take mine. He did and it was only 87. I had just eaten at Logan's and then came home and had a cupcake and he about passed out. He said that's way too low. He's about ready to take me to the hospital! I told him not to sweat the small stuff, I feel ok and I have too much other stuff wrong with me to go finding something else! He's determined now to start checking mine every day ... wish I could take back those words I said in jest ... dear me ... will I never learn to keep my mouth shut?

Can I deduct Sami? She eats as much as a small child!

Brad said that was low but if you don't have diabetes it might be ok. Go to the Joslin Diabetes website and see. You are so computer-savvy!! And congrats to you on handling the Bible questions. I understand what you mean about the questioner. I had a girl in my class in college that asked questions just to start something. I wish someone would ask me questions. but not about the Bible-that's Brads forte. Funny-I asked Alison what cd she would like from the Gaithers and she said Signature Sound. She said she would listen to it but she said she's not putting her hands up to praise the Lord. I told her I don't do that either. I wish she would ask me questions-she's not hearing much at the church she goes to. CT scan with dye today. hope and pray that's it. Bye Mima

That's too funny about raising of the hands!!! Still laughing here!

He wasn't worried about me having diabetes ... he has that ... he was worried about me being hypoglycemic, which is not having enough glucose in the blood. Frankly, I think he's worried for nothing ... he just worries too much. He made me promise to take it when I got up ... it was 84. And he said he wanted to take it again right before I ate dinner. He's just determined to find SOMETHING ELSE wrong with me!

You have enough on your plate without that. CT was ok-I wasn't allergic to the dye. No results til next Monday. We are going on a catamaran cruise today in Naples with my brother and sil. It will be cool but nice. We went on it last year so we thought they would enjoy it. Mike is planning a big Superbowl party on Sunday for us Patriots fans or Eagles! Tomorrow is dil's birthday-I spent a long time picking out some clothes for her which she needs. but doesn't buy. She loved what I bought her Christmas so I thought I'd try again. bYe for now. Mima

We ended up with loads of fog yesterday morning, so the school was closed. That's one sick day I won't have to use now!

Meme, my blood sugar has been in the 80's before too. I'm usually 95-105.

Mima, we'll be there for the superbowl party!! Woo hoo!!! That's so sweet of you to get your dil clothes that she needs. I hope she likes them!
