Okay..I did again for the 3rd time in a row. So this time I'm not going to get too personal.
Charlotte-I wanted you to know that I do have an appt. with my rheumy in 2 weeks, so I plan on asking him about my wrist and see what he wants to do with it.

My 2 cents worth...A heating pad is wonderful. I use it all the time when my shoulders are flaring or my upper arms. It doesn't totally take the pain away but at least I can sleep.

Okay...I'm done before this post disappears again...
Chanuk-Stay out of the ER... WE don't want anything else happening to you. Take care of yourself and get well.

Default Hey There

Angel- It is chilly at my beach this week.. Not as cold as some of you have.. It will be in the 50-60's We need cold weather now and then to control the bugs..
I watch the news and feel sorry for all the people who are having such bad weather in their area..
Chrily- I say my best friend is my heating pad.. I like my electric blanket next.. I need to be warm.. It doesn't matter summer or winter. I sleep under the same amount of covers.Even with the air on..My oa doesn't hurt as bad..
Hope you are feeling better happy..
Glynne- My daughter is a teacher and looks forward to weekends although she still brings tons of work home and spends most of it working..
We had some rain here today and it should be cool for a few days.. My bones hurt.. Must be the change in the weather. It surely is not that I am getting younger...
Bye Joanne

Chrily...when I'm having trouble posting, like that, I highlight the post & "copy". Then, if it doesn't take, then, it's on my mouse to "paste" into my post, instead of typing again. Sorry you're having problems.

My electric blanket is feeling good these days. We went from 70 degree weather to freezing! Joanne...keep that blanket on those hurting bones. It helps mine, also.

Hi Glynne...glad you're enjoying your time off. Hey, it's not that hard to put the graphics on. Just takes a little practice. Happy you like them.

Hello Rita & Happy Canuk & ageoldie.....

Well its another cold day in Montana. I'm enjoying the fireplace. I blew it today and ate a bunch of summer sausage at my mom's house. Darn it! I feel like when I get going good...I have to sabotage it by doing something I know isn't good for me and I keep doing it. At the rate I'm going...I'm never going to get this scale to change.

Joanne-50-60's....That's shorts weather here. I love the snow but I just can't stand these super cold temps we are having.

Charlotte-Thanks for the tip. I'll have to do that the next time. So how cold are you?

Okay hi Rita, Barb, Anne, and all you others lurking around and not posting...Have a great rest of the day and stay warm.

Yes, I know it's been a while since I dropped in, but it's been a crazy month so far. Anyone who thinks it would be nice to own their own business needs to talk to me! We have switched computer systems, and my Sis and I are going crazy making sure everything is going the way it is supposed to. Plus business has not been going very good and we have been faced with making hard decisions. It was much easier when I worked for doctors and just' went to work, punched keys on my computer, picked up my paycheck and came home!

I at least have made it to exercise this week, and I've started a new 'eating Plan" and have lost 10 pounds.

I went to a meeting today for the Sjorgren's Foundation, and it was really BORING. It was a GI doc talking about the Rheumatical disease's effect on the "gut" as he called it. Lots of slides, graphs and big words!!! At least the lunch was good.

I hope everyone is getting better, Anne, you were missed. I'll try not to stay away as long next time.

Default Hey There

Angel-- Feel better soon.. We are in the 40-50's here. I am enjoying the cool weather. It will be hot soon enough..
My son dropped by to let us know he will be getting married Feb. 12. I guess he wanted to beat the invitation here..We haven't seen or heard from him since Christmas.. I hope the best for him.. The best thing his girl friend did is get him into church.. We tried for years and he just resisted. I always told my hubby the right girl would get him there. He has been single for 20 years. I am glad he has found a partner.. He needed someone to be with .
Hello everybody..Joanne

Good morning friends,
I hope everyone is feeling as well as you can, this morning. It's still morning...but, I'm getting there. I went yesterday to get new upper dentures. It was a successful, but exhausting day. I had to be there at 8am to get them the same day, & it's 1 1/2 hr drive. I was really tired last night, & didn't sleep well.

It's been very cold here, with winds blowing pretty hard...down in the teens. My electric blanket has felt really good!

Gotta get ready for work...hope all have a good day. Nothing major going on here to tell about.

Good morning...

Well, it must be nice to just be "thinking" about turning on a heater! We have several going, & DH is thinking about bring in the ones in his worktruck that he uses on the floors he installs. Of course, we ARE still under this tarp. Gotta do something soon, though, it's ripping now, because of all the high winds we've had. We thought for sure it was going to go last night.

Yes, my one day dentures are great, also. This is the 3rd ones I've gotten from there. The first time he pulled 12 teeth & put the denture right in. No problems at all. Now, when they begin to wear out, I go get new ones. If you want to see my new smile, here's the link where I posted a pic they asked for. (this forum will only let us post the same pic once.) Just click on it, & my message with pic is the 3rd one down.

Hi Rita...Enjoy all that snow in Ohio! I wish we could get a good snow, at least once this winter.

Gotta get ready for church. Hope all of you are feeling well. Let's hear from everybody!

Just a fly by to let you all know that I'm thinking about you and am still around. I've been very busy with home improvement projects all week. My husband took the week off last week for all the "fun". This week will be more normal. I can't wait....
