Default Fibromyalgia 123

Four pages already!

We had MORE storms last night. Two big ones went through. A huge tree blew over and fell on our rent trailer next door. Thank goodness it wasn't any taller it would have smashed the trailer but it only got the deck and the cars of the boys who live there. It has the back door blocked ... they had to come out the front door ... they went home to their parents for the night. Hubby will have to try and get it off this afternoon. I'll see if I can get a picture to show you ... it's still pretty rainy out right now so I don't know if I can. We have several trees down in the woods behind our house ... it's a MESS! And we still don't have the trees from last week cleaned up yet, either. I wish SOMEBODY had some of this rain!!! It's KILLING me!

I think I had another sleep eating episode cause there is some food missing! I hate it when that happens and I always eat the "bad stuff" that I normally won't touch unless I have figured it in my pts for the day.

Had a bad storm here, no damage here (on our property) but wow did it level some businesses and homes where dH works just down the road from us! So scary...an F4 Kansas type tornado it was!!!!!!!!! No one killed but a lot hurt... The heat index was 110!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Less humid today and I mowed and then off to the store, got lots of fruit but bought some donut holes too! (put them in the freezer)

Candice you are so funny-I just found out that the lady that gives me massage is 76-I am 65 and I thoughty she was way younger than me. She doesa Feldenkraus which I guess keeps your body young. I can't believe it-she works, goes to Art Classes-etc. Mima

Hi-never went to the Cape -dreaded 5 hours in the car just for a visit when I can see them all in a 45 minute drive. Wow-you should see our yard-bulldozer,excavator, paver-it's going to be nice. Stomache is still in pain-probably stress. Joanne, take zinc lozenges to lessen cold. Son coming tomorrow night and we will see them Sunday. My girlfriend is coming over and we are going to lunch at a tearoom, owned by the leader of TOPS, which I no longer go to. It will be nice to see her. Bye for now. Mima

Don't even remember what "normal" is, Meme. I've finally realized it's something that's always changing. I'm sure you'll enjoy son and family and esp. new baby, Mima. Sorry about the cold, Joanne. Candice, we got a little tornado pretty close and an F3 about 30 miles away. Weather here was just awful up until yesterday. Think today's supposed to be real nice too.

Fell apart yesterday or else had a touch of a bug. Hard to tell difference. Dh so glad to be home. Must give him shots of bloodthinner in tummy for at least a few more days. Another one of those things I'd probably never do for money but - oh what we do for love. I'm trying to think of some little things we can do for fun over the weekend that won't be too strenuous. For me, that is. He talks like he's raring to go - but next minute I look and he's napping. Still having side effects from my new med (Plavix) so think I'm going to talk to dr about it. As soon as I have a chance! Need some exercise really bad, too. I've been on the go a lot but it hasn't been like going to the pool.

Hi. It sounds like we all have one thing in common, and that is the severe weather! Edmonton got bombarded with hail and rain. West Edmonton Mall, the largest mall in the world, had the skylight broken, and tons of water cascading in. They had to dump it all into the arena area. It was closed for a few days. The hail was like snow. I have some pictures so I will post one in a while.

Have been laid up with this darn back of mine, so haven't been doing much at all. Went to the chiro on Monday and it started to feel a little better yesterday. Hope it continues. I did go out yesterday afternoon and got a few groceries, and a new purse.

Mima - I no you will be excited to see your new baby. Have a nice visit.

Candice - "Sleep eating" again!! Better watch out, as that can be dangerous to your health You are keeping your steps pretty even. Good for you. I got a step meter, but it doesn't seem to work on me. My daughter put it on and it worked for her, then I put it on and it says 0000. It is frustrating.

Meme - Glad you are taking some down time. It must feel weird for you to be doing nothing. It is just what the ankle ordered.

Anagram - glad your hubby is home and doing better. What a worry for you. Now, in a few days, after he has rested, you will be trying to keep up to him. Hope you can find the time now to get back to the pool.

Joanne - Gosh, hope you feel better. Summer colds are nasty. My hubby had one three weeks ago, and really felt rotten. Thank goodness I didn't catch it.

I did go sign up at the rec. center, and as usual, as soon as I do something like this, my body doesn't want to cooperate. I think I will go today and do some walking only. Week one is just about done!!!! Everybody have a good day.

Good morning-I am in big trouble-I got a virus on my computer, wiped out my antivirus software, bought a new program and it won't install fully. Hope I don't have to reboot. I did clean up the virus with Stinger. On the plus size, a friend and I went to a tearoom for lunch, run by the leader of TOPS. Wonderful!!!Little sandwiches, tea, a scone which I thought was dessert, but the a small piece of cake and fudge. And she was busy yesterday. I couldn't do that everyday but it was great. Bye for now. Tomorrow, hopefully, I will hold Evan. Mima

Rested the whole day yesterday and then went shopping, got 3 pair of Birkenstock, and Airzona soft foot bed (taupe), a pair of navy outdoor clogs, and a pair of red footprints with a t strap. Now I need some new clothes to wear with them! but no money left..that spending spree was over 300 dollars! Then got a shirt and tie for DS and a bra for me and then 4 hours in the grocery store, got there at 11pm and got home at 4:30 AM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Another 200 dollars ...I read all the lables and calculate pts on everything so it takes a long time.

Now I off to bed as soon as the dryer stops!

Candice - you went shopping in the middle of the night? My goodness, I suppose it was less crowded and it sure helps with the "sleep eating" business. Then you washed clothes!!! Good grief woman. You are really screwed up time wise!

Mima - one more day until you get to hold that baby. I guess you are excited. Also, your grand daughter will be so happy to see you, as I know you will be to see her. Have fun.

Here are some pictures from the storm that tore through Edmonton last Sunday. Hail and tons of rain, made it look worse than winter. These are taken on a major freeway through the city.
