Default Hey There

Meme- What in the world is herbal mate tea????
I relaxed today. I went to golden corral and ate. 3 kinds of meat. 3 T of mac and cheese.(it wasn't even good) and then a small dish of icecream and a 2cookies.I did eat salad too. I came home and ate 4 small candies and then topped it off with a english muffin with peanut butter and strawberry preserves.. Do you think I did enough damage??
I will be good the rest of the week. But I had to get this out of my system. And I did journal it!!!No one can be meaner than that!! At least I did it to myself.. ARE YOU LAUGHING AT ME YET?I will hate myself tomorrow when I get on the scale..
By You All...I Love Ya!!Joanne

It has been proven that when you take a break from dieting your body actually will adjust and you will lose more weight when you go back to dieting than you would have if you hadn't taken the break... weird, huh.

It's not 'herbal mate' tea... it's yerba mate tea and you can get it at the health food store or online. You should try it, it will fix your water problem and give you an energy boost, too.

At our age it is just plain hard to be thin so we must settle for healthy, went to the craft mall and they have a new booth with cookies...bought some pumpkin ones...I ate too many! But I did walk 4 times this week even with my painful hip!

I would like to get my lighted hosues out this year but not sure I can handel the running up and down the stairs or that my arms will hold up. I have not had them out in about 4 years! I love looking at them and setting them up but hate taking them down and putting them away. I put them up on top of the hutch too and that is hard for me to reach while standing on a ladder.

Joanne, we are allowed slipups, that is part of life We all are way to hard on ourselves...........

Mima...sounds like you are getting things done! What kind of soup are you making to give out in jars?

Meme..never heard of that tea...is it caffine free?

Meme..I went to that site and I do not believe that it does not make you anxious....everything makes me anxious and your metabo cannot speed up without your body feeling it! Send me a bag and I will try it! Even decafe tea has a little caffine in it and that makes me anxious...I have to have caffine free not decafe..my body is so sensitive. Do you get more enery when you drink it?

Try green tea-I drink a cup every day. I agree that it's good to take a day off. Your body goes into starvation mode and stops losing. I have done that before-there is actually a diet where you eat one day a week. We have to eat what we can live with. For the rest of our lives. Pumpkin cookies sound great Candice. I need to make Brad some sugar free cookies. The ones you buy are loaded with fat!!!!We made jars of dried soup with lentils, rice, green peas, beef bouillon, small macaronis, large macaronis, dried onions, dried parsley. Put a calico circle on top and tied it with a ribbon. I can get you the amounts if you want. Don't want to make noise right now, Brad is still sleeping. Made pea soup last night. What a lot of fiber that has. I am getting to like it. If it has a lot of fiber, it probably has few points. Mima

Candice... email me your address ... I thought I had it in my label program but it's not there. Mine aren't in foil though ... just bags. I drink them at night and go to bed so evidently they don't make me hyper! I use one teabag w/6 oz. hot (not boiled) water and add a tsp. of honey. I'm not as hungry, have a little more energy and it helps keep my swelling down. (I pee a lot!)

Gotta get back to cleaning, the teens are coming at 6 for pizza and games - I'm hurting. It's cold and rainy here. Hubby's at work so no help today. Water's been off ... just came back on so I've got to get to work. UGH!

I am here and my jaw is unlocked, at least enough so I could eat almost a whole bag of potato chips yesterday.
Yes, I am still in lust. He has kids though so we have a break every other weekend, and that is lucky or we would move this along too fast. I would rather take advantage of the dating/smooching time for a while.
Joanne...I want to be a 12. When I was in my 20s that was what I thought was fat, now I would like that forever. I am a 14. It is OK, but 12 would mean I could wear Mediums instead of large.

14 lg. is still better than 16 XL... but I'm headed back down to that 14 ... give me a couple of months - then it's look out 12 here I come! The tea is helping, too.

The party was a big success. Kids... you never know what they're gonna do! I had all these games planned out for the night. They came in and saw 'Finding Nemo' in my entertainment center and had a fit... (I just bought it last weekend) They started in, "Can we please watch Finding Nemo, Please, Please." Most of them hadn't seen it yet. So I said OK, of course. I told them they could watch it until the men got back with the pizza. Well, it took the pizzas nearly an hour to get here and by that time I couldn't make them miss the rest of the movie. They ate pizza and donuts while they finished the movie and then we played games. They didn't go home until nearly 10 p.m. I was pooped - and still am! I just got home...went to church then out to eat with the kids ... I'm going to bed for a couple of hours. Nite Nite!

Hi Everybody! My name is Candy, I am 28 soon to be 29 years old and I believe I suffer from fibromyalgia. I have been tested out the ying yang for this that and the other and it always comes back negative. I have been shuffled around from one doctor to the next but noone seems to want to put the whole picture together and come up with a real diagnosis. I started doing a little research and everything I experience can be caused by Fibromyalgia so that's where I am at now. I have given up on doctors and I am taking herbal supplements that seem to help most of the time. Anyhows, I am trying to lose about 30 pounds and usually post over on the stay at home mom's thread but thought I would poke my head in here and see what advice and hints I could pick up in dealing with my health problems.

Just a little history, I have 2 kids, 2 yr old daughter and 4 year old son and I work from home doing medical billing for a gyn/oncology practice. In July 2002, I had a headache that wouldn't go away and at that time was diagnosed with hypothyroidism. I spent the next year and a half in bed. Around 3pm it would hit me and I just couldn't stand up and by 7pm I was usually ok. My head felt funny all the time, like my brain was floating in jello. I have pain throughout my entire body but have had most of my life so I am kinda used to it, I guess. In June of this year I experienced severe abdominal pain and the dr thought I had Crohn's so they scoped me only to find that I only had a smal normal ulcer in my intestine and they think I have IBS (I've had IBS since I was a teenager but have never experienced anything like that). Then they sent me to an ENT for the funny head thing and he told me it was allergies! I've had allergies all my life but I've never had a floating brain that kept me from functioning! Anyways, you get the point. If anyone has any advice or pointers, I'd love to hear it!
