Hi, I am new to the forum and I searched a bit but didn't see anything on the forum about Implanon specifically. I am 29 yrs old, 4'11" and I am currently at 240 lbs. I know I need to lose a minimum of 100 lbs, but in June I had the Implanon birth control arm implant inserted. I haven't had my period since, which sometimes is a good thing and sometimes a bad thing LOL. I am just wondering if anyone has had the implant and if so has had any trouble losing a substantial amount of weight? I gained most of my weight when I was on the Depo shot some years back, I switched to the pill but still didn't lose weight, now with the implant I have lost a few pounds but I also am attributing it to the first week of easy loss/water weight. Any one else have the implant?
