Hi Joanne! Thankls for the warm welcome.

Our physician specifically told my husband to wear New Balance shoes also. He wears both their dress shoes and sneakers exclusively, and has done so for the past five years. His feet have always been terrible...flat arches, hammertoes, ingrown nails, bunions...you name it. But he's had so much relief from wearing New Balance shoes. Not just from foot problems, but also from knee and hip pain. He's a big fellow (over 6 feet and 350 lbs.) and he was having trouble walking before he changed his brand of shoes. So I can give New Balance a 110% enthusiastic review too.

Default Hi

Knee and hip pain! That's what I have !!!So glad I bought those shoes. I'll have to get Brad to buy some-he just bought 2 new pr so it won't be for a while. I always wore Nike Air til my foot started to bother me.
I was all set to go out last night when my car wouldn't start . Seems hubby left the back door open and the battery went dead. He put the charger on this am. I should have called him to come home last night!!!!!!
My stomache stil is acting up-lots of pain. Guess I'll take my stomache relaxer. I get sick of meds.
I'm going to finish my stenciling today. It's so cute!I am on a roll-going to do the hall too. Hi to everyone and welcome Peaceful!!!Mima

Well, dh had ultrasound of kidneys and more blood work this a.m. He says he's feeling better on low potassium diet though he never admitted he wasn't feeling well before - I think he was just more tired not "sick". So, now we wait, I guess.

I eked out only a "maintain" this week and that seemed like lots of work. Just going to stay with what I've been doing until things settled down re his new diet and then if things don't improve for me I'll have to rethink it and come up with a new strategy.

Good day all.

Serenity...get better. Cause I only get on the computer at home a few days a week I know how hard it is to keep up here. I miss some of your good talks...
Gyno stuff. (Hi Auntie and welcome) I have bacterial vaginitis. First they took a test for chlamydia and ghonorea (sp) and I was laying there totally embarrassed and also practicing my speech to my boyfriend in which I dump him and tell him he is scum........
then they come back to tell me that the cells under the microscope show I have bacterial vaginitis which is very common BUT it comes usually from poor hygiene habits and I got a lecture on WIPING. Sheeeesh. I am 46 years old. I have been wiping OK for 46 years. I can't believe this.
Anyway....I am not dying of anything at this particular moment that I know of.....
Joanne......My goal in life is to make everyone else in my life gain weight so I look smaller in comparison. I am always feeding people.

Default Hey

Ally- Pretty Good ! I like that. Esp. the ones who always find ways to make us feel large. Eat lots of yogart. It is good for the vaginal problems.
Serinity -Get well. I need to pay more attention to what I am eating. Comfort food just makes me have upset stomach.
Anagram - I am always trying new methods. I am not gaining but not going down. I have got to do a better job of it.
Hello all.. Joanne

Hope all feel a bit better today. Went to candlelight vigil last night. Very nice. Well done.

Expecting a good weekend. DS and wife coming Sat, staying till Tuesday (shock!). DD and family going to drive up and meet us for lunch on Sunday and then drive back. (Round trip almost 4 hours - hope kiddies are good for them.) Of course they're calling for the possibility of rain but maybe it will miss them while they're travelling.

Off to pool - good day to all.
