Default Hi

The PBS staion is not cable if you want to check on Sat. night, We can't watch too much because we ordered the satellite dish, they took our money, and then they went out of business. They did say they would send out all existing orders by June 10. I can dispute the charge but then we have to wait for the next company. About mothers-I learned one big thing from my mother-not to whine about my pain all the time and not to give in to it-she gave up when she got rheumatoid arthritis at 50-took to the couch even though I kept hearing her doctor say to move around. And she took lots of meds. She also never listened to me.So people don't know when I'm in pain because I don't usually say anything-except to my husband because his job is to listen. I cleaned part ofthe attic yesterday and my back hurt but it is better today and I'm going for a massage at 10 and just filing our stuff in folders this pm.Hubby has gone to work on the airconditioning at church-he's so good-that's our donation-he buys all the supplies and gives his time-Stay unstressed evryone. Mima Oh yeah-we can complain to each other

Hi Girls

Happy - I have msn but have never used it and don't know how. Why would you use headset ????typing with ears ????

I have checked into the chat several times during the day too so you never know who you will meet in there.

I am thinking of joining WW ? Does anyone go there & is it worth the money etc etc ??

Have a good day all.

HI

Have had one of the worst days in years.

Don't know why - pain everywhere - what have I done ????

Nothing that I know of. Just terrible - tylenol not helping much.

Spent over half the day in bed.

Does anyone else have these days? Usually I pull myself
together and carry on for the most part.

I seem to be regressing. Have not been like this for years.

Default Hey

Serenity- I am a lifetime member of WW- They now have one of the best programs that they have ever had. I don't go to the meetings as I should but I watch pretty close and so far am only 3 lbs over goal. I have a tendency to go up and down. It is really hard for me as I am on a lot of medication. It is worth the money. Commit yourself and go.
We all have our bad days.
Mima- I know what you mean about keeping things to myself. I sometimes slip and dump on someone and then feel real guilty about it.
Candice- Sorry about that--Keep your pants on..Your flowers are looking good.
Hello,Ally.Meme... Bye..Joanne:

YOu know, there is a common denominator amongst all us Fibro girls. We don't seem to know when to stop. I am already making my list of things "to do' for the weekend and I should just let myself take a break. But I can't. Not with all this stuff that needs to be done. But it is hot in NY, hopefully cooler by the weekend. I shouldn't be hungry in this hot humid weather, but I am. I just want to hang out in front of the fridge.

Candice, are those flowers from this year? Stuff is just starting to poke through the ground here now. This is the coldest spring ever recorded for this area.

Serenity - the pain could be from the weather. Didn't you have a storm that went through or is still there? That is what happened to me on the weekend. Friday night to Saturday afternoon, then a storm hit, and I felt a lot better. Part of it was overdoing it with the cleaning. Sometimes (usually) I am my own worst enemy. I can't meet you at that time, as it is only 5:00 a.m. here and I am still sleeping (heavens, at 7:00 a.m. I am still sleeping):lol

Ally - you are right, but you can give yourself a break - your work fulltime and need the weekends to rest. Just do minimum.

Hi Mima, Joanne and Meme

Ally...give yourself a break..are trying to keep up with MEME! Would that be for food or the cold air.....standing in front of the frig!

Joanne....My pants are way too big! Really since I lost my butt they so actually fall off! So you are only 3 over gaol..that is great how much did you lose and how long did it take you?

Happy.......are you feeling better??? I am still resting form all that work yesterday. Lifing out windows and standing on a ladder requires muscle and balance and I have neither! Yes those are my chives they like it cool, and only last untill now. I will have to cut them back pretty soon. They are yummy in dishes for a hint of onion. (the grenn will last all summer).

Mima....that is so nice of you and Brad to donate that stuff!

We got alittle bit of rain and around us ahd alot..we need it and they don't! Maybe more tonight and then a cool front and nice weather.

Meme..must be busy

Default Hey

Candice -' Keep your pants on' is a southern slang for 'don't get excited'. You seemed to get excited that we mistook your sons girl friend for you. I know that is a no no.I joined WW and lost 57 lbs. I want to lose more and have had a stuggle just to keep it maintained. I am on medication and that doesn't help and I have a habit of eating wrong from time to time. I don't seem to get into my head that I am addicted to them. I forgot but it was close to 9-10 months to lose it. I don't regret the time it took. I didn't even think about it. It was something I had to do. I also started walking on a regular basis 3-4 miles every day. I have maintained that until about a couple months ago. I knew my knee was going but I had tried to just forget about it. There is no forgeting it now, I still try to do 30 min on the treadmil and some floor exercise. It was poping out all day yesterday. Yes I did a lot of cussing!I want to make it last till after Christmas this year. I still have to get exercise in the meantime.I can't sit on my rear and gain.Have you got the address for WW at home? I guess I am looking in the wrong place and haven't found it.
Nice Flowers... Mine are doing pretty good. My hubby thought he was helping last week and put something in some potted plants
and burn't them up. Oh well, Home Depot here I come.
Ally- Take thingc(Cleaning) slowly. It will be there the next day.
Hello Mima ,Meme.
Happy. I am like you.. 7 AM ..No way! I am lucky sometimes to sleep to 8 AM. I have to get my coffee and breakfast over with and read the paper etc. .. I am a creature of habit..
Bye for now Everyone keep well..Joanne

Yes...busy, busy, busy. I have home health nurses, occupational therapy (just left) and Physical therapy coming in and out in and out!!! Plus seeing to mom's needs and cooking, cleaning, washing, shopping etc. Spent most of the day yesterday at the hospital. She had to have another CAT Scan plus had an App. with the Neuro. Surgeon at 1. I'm just always tired now!!!

Joanne...do you wear a brace on your knee? I have some of the elastic kind...not the huge ones with the little hole in the middle...I hate those things!!! These you just pull up over you knee. They really help keep my kneecaps in place when they are feeling like that! I also wear support hose a lot when I'm going to be up walking or working. Could be something like that could help you make it through the rest of the year!

Candice...I love your flowers. I have some but haven't had time to make pictures or even get outside and just enjoy looking at them! Oh well...maybe next year! Seems like that's what I say every summer!

Have to get my gold shot tomorrow...also am seeing the Dr. with an ear ache...this is the third time this year I've had ear infections. It's about to drive me nuts. Then Friday I have to take mom to get her hair done. I'm supposed to start back teaching next week. I need some vitamins!

Hi girls

Well I did it - went to 1st WW meeting this morn. Acutally just about ready to leave and daughter (lives next door) decided to
come with me.

We both weighed in @ the same weight but she has more of
an excuse - 8 month old baby and she just quit nursing last
week. The pounds should fall off her more easily.

I love your Iris's - mine are just getting ready to bloom. Everything here is slow this year.

Well I had a chat on line with some people which helped a lot.
Joanne - thanks so much for your advice.

Happy - could you please explain to me about the msn thing.
I really don't know anything about it but a little green head sits on my screen and I have never used it.

Now I will spend some time reading through the material that
I brought home. Hoping to learn lots of new things.

The contractors just called - can start on siding of house
tomorrow. What a surprise - not due till next week. Hope
we will be ready for them - still trying to smash out the old
cement front step.

Yesterdays pain is gone - still don't know why I had it unless it
was the weather.

Back to work in the yard today.
