Hi. I can finally come up for air

On Friday, I was feeling pretty good, so I decided to clean up my house. I washed the floors and cleaned bathrooms, dusted etc. Friday night I started to hurt like crazy and Saturday morning found me in my back brace and neck support! Saturday afternoon, my brother and sister-in-law arrived. We did go out for dinner, and then we came home and played cards. My brother is a diabetic and has serious heart problems, along with other health problems. Anyway, he woke up Sunday morning not feeling well, so they decided to stay another day. They are on holidays and heading to British Columbia. I am actually glad that they did stay an extra day - I quite enjoyed the visit. They just left 1/2 an hour ago. I sure hope he will be ok. My back started to feel better, and on Sunday I knew why - a wet, grey day!!!! Then we did go to the mall to walk, and I walked past those blasted candles that are scented and I ended up with a headache. Then, to top it off, I had a really rotten sleep last night - you know those nights when you don't think you slept! Might have to have a nap this afternoon. Don't usually sleep in the day, as I can never fall asleep.
Serenity - Sounds like you are one busy lady. Lots of stuff going on. All of this before company arrives. I guess we are all the same. Seems like we are all a bit like the energizer bunny
I wish they would get some rain in northern Alberta. That is the biggest fire that Alberta has ever had, and they don't have a hope of stopping it without rain. We have also had so much wind, I am sure that doesn't help either. I live in Red Deer, halfway between Edmonton and Calgary (100 miles to either city) I have never been in the CHAT ROOM. Don't even know where to find it. Are you on MSN at all as I like to talk on the headset. It looks like we are in for a really nice week, weather wise. How about you?
Meme - glad you got to do something you really, really enjoyed. That is great. I hope your mom is able to regain the use of her hand. I know I would be like you - getting on with it and learning to do as much as I can - but then again, I am 56 not in my 70's. I think that may make a difference, and then again, every person is very different. I agree with you about the bathing as well. As long as you are able to help her, then you should. It probably wouldn't be easy for her to allow strangers to help her.
Candice - We are going to have to tie you up and keep you OUT of that garden. You are going to really hurt yourself. I want to know how your arm is doing? You haven't really said . Nice picture of your son and girlfriend. I thought it was you as well. You should be flattered that we all think you look like you are in your 20's
Joanne - You give such good advise. I don't think anyone would ever be offened by what you offer. It is just common sense. Hope you have gotten some rain, down your way. It is sure trying to rain here, but all we seem to get is a little shower and then it is gone. Not near good enough for the farmers.
Mima - You are right! You don't have to get it done at any particular time, just take your time and enjoy doing it. Glad you enjoyed your concert. Sounds like you had a relaxing day yesterday.
Ally - I watch those same things on Saturday night. I LOVE the English humor. Both of those are good. Do you think the weather has something to do with the migranes. My girlfriend has them all the time and they are related to the barometric Pressure.
Well everyone, Candice will acuse me off writing a novel, so I had better stop! Hope you all have a good day.
