HAPPY JUNE EVERYONE
HAPPY JUNE EVERYONE
HI LADIES, THE SITE CRASHED LAST NIGHT, BUT WE'RE UP AND RUNNING AGAIN NOW ~ unfortunately, we lost all our JUNE posts, so we have to start this month over again. I figured we might as well just do a restart to keep things less confusing ... OK?
; when he's tired, he just hits the hay! We had a good day, chicken for lunch and leftovers for dinner. I picked up some blueberries, strawberries, bananas, clementines, and cherries for my snacks this week.

(Llanfairpwllgwygyllgogerychwyrndrobwyll-Ilanytysiliogogogoch) I think I have spelt it right. It translates in English to “The church of St.Mary in the hollow of white hazel trees hear the rapid whirlpool by St Tysilo’s of the red cave”
Bye for now and take care ladies till next time
Rosebud and Valdine
hope you both have a relaxing weekend take care till next time

Looks like we are definitely having one this June. We are really lucky that we didn't lose more stuff.
will break through later on. Got a busy day of errand running planned so I really don't care what the weather does -- at least it isn't snowing.

As promised, I posted some of the original thread for LOW-CAL SNACKS that I had posted in the Counting Calories Forum; I added in some other ideas that others had suggested in/at other places and times.

I did a little happy dance off the scale this morning. It finally feels like I know I can do this!

CONGRATULATIONS VAL ON LOSING 100LBS

For two people you take 2 bananas, 2 teaspoons of unsweetened cocoa powder and 1 teaspoon of vanilla essense. Put all the ingredience into a blender and blitz until it becomes a smooth paste. Put into small pots and freeze. Though you can eat straight away if you can not wait. We ate straight away and it was very nice way to dress up a banana. I will try and get them to the freezer next time
Bye ladies till next time and take care

VAL . . . that is a wonderful accomplishment, Chickie . . .
Today is looking very overcast and, although it's definitely fairly cool, it actually feels 'muggy'
Guess it's going to be a mostly indoors kind of day for me anyway. For me 'muggy' always translates into 'achey' as well.
HELLO CHICKIES ~ We had another hot, sunny day today but there was a light breeze all day which helped some. We went out to the garden to check on our Rhubarb transplants and discovered that one patch was doing better becuz we surrounded them with black mulch material; so we did the other group this afternoon and watered them all as well.
We may have to get ourselves a dehumidifier to get the moisture out of the air to be more comfortable.
