Gluten intolerance is easy to check for with a blood test. It is one of the most underdiagnosed diseases out there. I would go see a GI Dr. I have a friend who has a daughter with this. She went from having terrible symptoms every day to problem-free as long as she avoids certain foods.

Just wanted to update everybody on my whole "situation".. I don't have any results yet, still waiting on all the lab results to come in. The doctor did a quick exam and suspects some sort of infection. Took blood and stool samples and now I am waiting again! I have a feeling this will be a long process... *sigh* In the meanwhile I'm still eating very limited food items and it's getting soooo frustrating since nothing seems to be helping!

Thanks for the update! I hope it's nothing too bad and you can start eating "normally" again soon!

Same here! I just found out after many years of suffering. My undiagnosed CD led to major B-12 deficiency (also undiagnosed until last month) which resulted in a long list of serious health issues, the least of which was being anemic my ENTIRE life (even as a baby) and the worst being permanent neuro damage.
