Good morning. I agree about the warm pool. That's what we have in FL but we also have that at the Y and the exercise center nearby,
We did it-Finished around 8 last night. We have lots of little things left but it was surely presentable. I will not go down ther today!!!
Only had 4 kids for Halloween-now I have to hide the leftover candy. From me-I did have 2 butterfingers and yes, I have a bit of IBS-!!
She took 2 extra pics because they were not clear. But the radiologist does not read them til the next day. Or?? That's when they might call me back.
Love your pic, Anne.
Gotta get caught up here. Billy is coming back on Sat to clean.
Bye for now Mima Have a great weekend, Tammy!!!!
PS-Suzanne just called me-she is engaged. He took her grandmother's diamond and had it made into a setting with 3 diamonds on each side of it. And they want to get married in April because he will be shipped to Kuwait.
Mima
Awesome!!! There's already 200 people-he has a large family. Just waiting for them to have some time to discuss things then watch out for Mima. I saw a pic of the ring and it's absolutely gorgeous.
Been up since 2-lots of small isuues with tenant and miscommunication-boy he sure has boundaries. And the we were at fault. I will give in on one but not the other-he wants us to fill the oil tank and then he will when he leaves. No-we will put in 100 gallons. He also thought he was heating the upstairs too-NOT-we close everything down. These things keep going through my mind-I heard you are supposed to put things in God.s hands-pray for me, Tammy.
Had the weirdest thing yesterday-I had a lupus like rash on my face and felt awful. Looked on the net and it says you could get a reaction like that to chemicals-hmmm-or meds. Besides all the paint, I took 2 seratonin with my other meds at night. Don't know which it was. My basal temp was down to 96.9. I am better today.
Mima
Joanne - WHERE ARE YOU! HOW are YOU??? I hope you are feeling ok. Still hot down that way? It sure is starting to get cooler and cooler here. Snow is around in some places, I guess.
Mima - you heat your house with OIL!!! My goodness, don't you have to keep some heat on during the winter so that the pipes don't freeze (plumbing)? I hope you don't have a bunch of problems from your renter, but I guess he pays for HIS space and that is what he wants.
Congrats to Suzanne on her engagement. Hope all goes well. Hope the rash had NOTHING to do with Lupus. That is a nasty one. My basal temp. is always low, since I went through menopause - 96.2 or sometimes even a little lower.
Tammy - have a fun weekend. When my son was 21 he was going out with this little gal, and all of a sudden she wanted to get married, but he had decided early on, that he wasn't getting married until he was at least 28. He had things he wanted to do before he settled down. He did get married when he was 29. He stuck to the plan
Went to the Dr. and he put me on a different med. I started it last night. Same family, different name. I slept the best I have in months, last night. Could just be a coincidence, but I had no dreams or hallucinations at all. Funny what those meds can do to a person!
Everybody have a good day, and hello to all our readers.
Happy- Right here.. I am fine, just seems to not be enough hours in a day.. It has gotten cooler the past couple days..We expect a couple more before it gets warmer. This time of year is nice..I may get to open my windows tomorrow..Turn off the ac...
Mima- Your tenent seems to want to lay down some laws.. Good luck with him..He will just have to live with whatever is in your lease agreement..Lupus is a nasty dx. I sure hope you have no problems there..
Tammy- I know you are not there just now.. Hope you are enjoying yourself..
We had only 2 children for trick or treat.. Now I am stuck with a large bag of candy..Don't need that around here. I may put it on top of the garbage can and let them have it..Next year I will get pretzels in little bags...
Hello Meme--What is happening in your life ? We miss you...
Have a Great Weekend Everybody...Joanne
Hi there-the rash is gone. I read that chemicals could cause such a thing and when your exposure was gone, everything would be ok. And it seems to be.
Brad takes the water out of all our pipes. We are on a separate unit. I don't think Josh trusts us yet-he thought he would be heating our house too. We are getting somewhere but I don't know where. I think that since he owns his pwn company that that is some of the problem. We stuck to the fact that he had to get his own heat but we are putting some in before we leave-some, not all. He can't have HD-trees in the way-can't hook up the other receiver either til we get a new card. Even phone co. wouldn't let me put the DSL in his name and he would pay for it. Brad had told him he could get satellite for 5 a month and he thought it was all year long. He actually thought he would get all those things without having to pay. He thinks $700 is a lot for that apt. With elec. And we live in a nice area. You pay for location. Brad says next time it's going to be $800. We have learned a lot. We discussed things pretty reasonably yesterday.
Going to lunch with gf's. Wonderful bible study yesterday with all women. None of this stuff matters in the end-this life here is temporary.
Still waiting for Sue and Jim to discuss things.
Have to get started packing. Have to stay away from paint.
We will love your weather, Joanne. It's cold here.
MIma
I turned off the ac and opened some windows...louie will make me shut them tonight and turn on air. He is so afraid of intruders..We do have home invasions but I doubt they will climb through the windows..
Josh should try renting an appartment down here.700 is cheap.. Plus he would pay for electric and water and everything else..Sounds like he is trying to bull you...My son had rental property for awhile.. He soon found out it wasn't worth it..He had 3 houses and a triplex.. He didn't have a minute to spare.. One he found out the tenents turned into a pot growing house.. It was a really nice house in a good area.. I think that was the beginning of the end..Another he rented to 3 policemen.. They trashed it. Partys ,the neighbors were unhappy
His wife had a condo.. It got flooded when the guys left the water running and went to work.. More trouble...
Ok, The weather is good here...Joanne
Mima - being a landlord is a thankless job, and people really don't seem to care if they wreck everything or not. Not everybody, but it seems like quite a few. I would NEVER think to treat a rental property any differently than one I owned. Wow! I can't believe that you don't have to leave at least a bit of heat on. I guess it doesn't get as cold as here.
Joanne - enjoy having your windows opened. I don't know what I would do if I couldn't open the windows. I LOVE the fresh air. It is only 27 degrees here this morning, but I keep a window open all night (it was 22F). It just feels good in the morning to get up and breath fresh air.
I guess Tammy is away for the weekend. Hope she is having fun.
I am doing nothing this weekend, if I can help it. Hubby has a bad cold and will just sleep. I am hurting. The weather is going to change to damp and it has gotten to me.
It's ok when you drain everything-we have done it for 3 years-that's the business Brad is in-but boiler is still on for Josh. We have mostly everything straightened out. NEXT TIME it will all be in writing. I certainly think he will not trash the place, Hey, Anne-he was born in Ontario!
Brad and Billy built a wall to close part of the boiler room. I went to lunch with my gf"s . What a nice time we had.
Suzanne and Jim are not going to have a big wedding yet-just a small one before he goes. He has training in April and lots of other stuff. They will have a big church wedding when he gets back, That sure takes the pressure off. I sure hope she will be ok while he is gone.
I did pretty good sleeping with the time change. It's all the stress that's cuckoo.
Poor Jessica-baby was up all night. Someone told me to wake them during the day-don't let them sleep too long-then they will sleep longer at night. I told her but she was sleeping then. The first month is so hard.
Church this am-then lunch, nap Patriots and visiting Sherrill.
Bye for now Mima
Mima - have you left for Florida now? If you have, I guess you will answer from there. If not, where the heck are you. Not like you to miss two days in a row.
Tammy - did you ever come back??? Hope you had a fantastic time.
Joanne - I know you are busy. Hope you are feeling ok, and that you were able to get your house aired out. I have to close the windows at night now, as it is freezing and I don't want to freeze the pipes. We have hot water heating. I may have to get hubby to turn the fireplace back on. It heats up the main living space wonderfully well. It's a gas fireplace and much cleaner than the wood burning, but I still love the sounds of wood when it crackles.
I hope whatever you are all off doing, that you are having a good time doing it. I am baking Christmas cakes (fruit cakes) this morning, and making Nuts and Bolts. Have to start to get the jump on Christmas. It's not that far away, and the time goes so darn fast.
Hello- I am fine and the windows have been open all this week. Now the house is getting dusty.. No rain lately and we have a good bit of traffic on this street. That's Florida for you..I am always busy doing something.. i don't do too much baking for the holidays.. Just some pies and the rest I buy..
I guess Mima must be on her way down.. Tammy must be home but more likely busy..
Joanne
Anne, hope the new meds are working well!! I started thinking about Christmas yesterday. I got out a paper and listed names of those I need to buy for. I didn't get much listed. My mind is a blank.
Joanne, I love to have the windows open and have fresh air. I usually make some Christmas cookies, but not much else.
I came home on Sunday evening, went to bed at 9:30, slept until 9:30 on Monday. Got up, ate some yogurt, went back to bed at 10:00 and slept until 12:30 when the phone rang. I was wiped out from the weekend. Went to the chiro Monday afternoon and water aerobics that night. Boy did they feel good!
The Emmaus Walk was amazing. We definitely knew that God was in the House all weekend. The women at my table were wonderful. I hope we are able to stay in touch.
Yesterday Bob went to the liver specialist. THings are stable with his liver which is a good thing. It isn't getting worse. He goes for an upper endoscopy next week because he is having problems swallowing different foods. Hopefully they figure out what the problem is and fix it.
I'm working at the soup kitchen this morning. Kramer got me up at 3:00 to go out, so I thought I'd come on here and try to catch up a bit. Met Tim and his new friend halfway last night to take him warmer clothing. Also his winter coat. We ate at Pizza Hut, and we had a nice visit. Too short of course.
Hi-I am here but there weren't any new posts but since you missed me-I will post anyways next time.
Suzanne is getting married on April 26-we are going to look at gowns today. We will have a discussion on the reception-she went and talked to someone at a country club-while I was thinking hall and caterer. If there weren't so many people, it would be doable. But he has a big family. She doen't think his family will contribute but she is willing to share the burden.
Josh had to go home to Ontario-we hope nothing is seriously wrong-he left a note and said it was an emergency.
Brad is finishing up his projects while I do whatever-since Josh is away, I can finish painting tomorrow.
And he has jobs to finish-we think we can leave the end of next week-plan is to be there for Thanksgiving. Which will be at Jill's mother's.
Still haven't gotten 8 hours sleep-especially with the clocks. And the stress.
I talked to Jessica-baby slept and missed 2 feedings. She is a good mother-always concerned-even said she has to look at the poop when Steve changes a diaper. Haha-I remeber how you are with the first. We will go there on sunday.
Bye for now-Mima
