Fibromyalgia #166
Good afternoon.
Mima - have a safe trip. Hope you enjoy yourselves. I imagine it will be HOT in Jamacia, so I hope you can stay cool. Hope you took along some food that you KNOW you can eat (snack type things) just in case you run into problems. My girlfriend just informed me that PECTIN is good for IBS. You just sprinkle it on your food. It might be worth a try. Tammy - I will post the diet for you. It isn't hard to follow, but it does take a little bit of work. If I can do it, anybody can. It does effectivley kill all your cravings. It's just the first couple of days that are hard. You will feel achy and have a headache from your body detoxing. The ache is like FM. Hi Meme , Joanne and Chris. Hope you are all having yourselves a good day. No hubby home tonight, so I don't have to cook:carrot: Just need to eat my soup, salad and veggies. I love having that piece of bread for supper. I have been making a smoothie in the morning for breakfast. I use raspberries, Strawberries and my 5 TBLS. of YOUGURT, I blend them together, then I add some frozen strawberries and blueberries, because I like it THICK!! |
Inner Klean Diet
This is for 6 days. You can eat all the fruit and veggies you can hold. Also, a broth of carrots, celery, parsley and spinach is made. Just use the broth and toss the veggies, as all the nutrients are in the soup.. You can add V8 juice to it, and that REALLY helps. Breakfast - fifteen minutes before eating, squeeze the juice of a lemon into a medium glass of hot water and drink it. Have 8 0z of grapefruit or orange juice (freshly squeezed or from concentrate). Cottage Cheese or Yogurt - 5 level tablespoons, no more, no less. One half pound of fresh fruit. You can eat more, but at least 1/2 lb. No Bananas or Avocados. Between breakfast and lunch, drink all the fruit and vegetable juice and broth, you can hold. The more live food you put down, the more thorough will be the cleansing. The broth you make is full of minerals, and therefore, you drink lots of it. Lunch Vegetable Broth - Drink 2 cups during the meal. Salad - make a chopped salad of fresh raw veggies. Use a dressing of COLD PRESSED Olive Oil, Lemon Juice and salt. Eat at least 8 level tablespoons of salad, more if desired. Dessert - fresh fruit Beverage - 8 oz milk if desired Between lunch and dinner drink all the fruit and vegetable juice you desire. Eat all the fresh fruit and veggies you want. Fill up, it's medicine for you. Dinner 2 cups vegetable broth cooked vegetables with a little butter. Bread - 1 medium slice of whole wheat bread with a little butter. Dessert - salad of fresh fruit If you feel hungry after dinner, eat fresh fruits and veggies and drink fruit and vegetable juices and vegetable broth. Allowable veggies: Artichokes, Asperagus, Beans, Beets, Brussel Sprouts, Cabbage, Carrots, Cauliflower, Cucumbers, Celery, Egg Plant, Frsh Green Corn, Fresh Green Peas, Green Peppers, Kal, Kohlrabi, Lettuce, Orka, Onions,Parsley, Parsnips, Pumkin, Radishes, Rutabagas, Spinich, Squash, Swiss Chard, Tomatoes, Turnips. NO POTATOES. What to expect from the diet: The first day you may feel slight discomfort from having changed your regular mode of eating, but do not allow this to disturb you for it is natural. About the third or 4th day, the bowels and kidneys will begin to move freely (not diarrhea). Much toxic material will be passed. There will be symptons of headache, perhaps nausea, gas, a few aches and pains, but do not become alarmed. Nature is merely cleaning you out. These symptons are quite natural and to be expected. About the fifth day you feel a surge of energy. You will be surprised at yourslef. Your complextion will have cleared up, your eyes will begin to sparkle and you well feel wonderfully clean inside. The little cells that were so full of toxins are now clean and they begin crying out for other food. Continue on until the end of the 6th day. NOTE: If you start this diet STICK TO IT. Don't try it one day and then quit. Follow instructions and reap a wonderful reward of health again. Recipe for Vegetable Broth. (Hot of cold) Take 7 carrots and smallbunch of celery and cut fine. Place in 2 quarts of hot water and boil for 15 min. Add one-third of bunch of parsley and a large handful of fresh spinich, cut fine. Boil for 10 min. more. Drain off the juice. Flavor with Onion Salt of galic. May add Tomato juice or v-8 juice to it. The above recipe makes about one day's supply. The purpose of this broth is to FLUSH. Drink lots of it during the six days. It is full of minerals from the vegetable. No coffee, tea or water. Drink only fruit and vegetable juice and vegetable broth. |
Anne, I'll copy that and give it a try. I hope I can do it! I get so used to just grabbing things so I'll have to really watch it for those days. wonder if I could convince Bob to try it?
One of Bob's friends uses pectin for his arthritis and swears by it. I've never tried it. |
Sorry I haven't been around. I have been in a lot of pain. Knee is killing me. The ortho PA wanted to wait till today to see if the cortisone would kick in. Well obviously it hasn't so I called him to let him know. They are scheduling an MRI. I am now waiting to find out when it is. I have totally given up bowling for the rest of this season (only a few weeks left) and the summer. Breaks my heart. I don't go anywhere. I can't stand to go to the bowling center and watch hubby. I am so bored when I do that. I did go tonight to a lady's house and look at her birds. It was an hour's drive one way. I wasn't impressed with her birds at all. It really wasn't worth the drive. Came home and went to bed for a while. I have really blown my eating. I have pigged for days now. Depression does that to me. Need to find something else to do instead of eat. I am sure I have gained all I lost last week back and then some. Oh well.
|
Chris, I'm sorry to hear that the knee isn't any better. I know how much you enjoy bowling, so that has to make things worse. Take care and know that we are all thinking about you and praying for you to be better. Meme's advice is good. I hope you'll do it!!
Meme, I think Ross is very lucky to have you!!! I've heard of that way of waking up with some of the students that I've had. I agree with you about a 10 year old shouldn't run the house. My TOM finally started. First time since January. Very crampy and irritable, but I'm dealing with it. We're even going to go to a movie this afternoon! Haven't been to a theatre in years!! I guess it's a little date for us. lol Hope you are all having a great day! |
Hey There
Another week almost gone.. I think sometimes if I didn't look at the date on a paper I wouldn't know what day it is.. There will be a craft fair here this weekend. I will walk down and look around. It will be in a park just a mile away from my house. They have it there every year. Things are so expensive I seldom buy anything.
Tammy-I stayed on S/B all last week and lost the 5 lbs I gained. Now I want to lose 8 more. That will make the 7% of my body weight.I need to find some foods and ways to make it less boring now.I eat a lot of egg beaters ,sea food, beef, chicken, and a little pork and cheese, and ofcouse salad. I can relate to your stomach problems. That is part of my IBS problems. Chris- The Dr. should consider a knee replacement. With that and losing more weight It should get rid of some of your pain.Ofcourse he may not do it if you are too heavy.. My sister had that problem. They won't even look at her in that respect. There are days when she can hardly walk at all. Ofcourse she has severe heart problems so her chances of any surgery are out now.Meme is right. Find ways to take you away from the foods. I do crafts,go shopping or take walks. Anything to get away from the frig. Meme- I hope things with Ross will settle down. I hope the Dr's can find a medication that will work for him. His parents are lucky to have you to help. Happy- I think Spring was skipped and we are into summer..Your diet sounds like a lot of work.. I will stick to S/B. I know a lot of people can't ,but, it is easy for me. I like easy.. At 74 and 81(hubby) we tend to get into that way of living.. Have a Great Weekend Everybody...Joanne |
Thanks for all the kind words. I just finished the bills and well there isn't any money for me to go buy myself something nice to help me feel better. If there were I would as I think that is great advise. Right now I am house bound. My Lexmark printer died (yet again) and Lexmark is sending a new one...only the 6th or 7th time I have had a replacement (I lost count). I send the old back and they are indeed finding something wrong with them...and always something different. If I had to go buy a new printer it certainly won't be Lexmark. I was home all day yesterday and left at 5:30. Wouldn't you know it, UPS tried to deliver after I left. So today I am staying put so they can deliver. Still haven't heard when the MRI is. The longer it takes for them to call the worse I feel. Just not feeling real good about anything today.
|
My MRI is April 9th. The PA told me he would have me an appointment in a matter of days. He also said they lease the Imganing Center on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Appointment is on a Monday. Lied to again....times 2. Nothing more upseting than being lied too.
Printer finally came at 6 pm. So no grocery shopping today. I will have to do it in the morning. I only had 6 slices of pizza for dinner. Talk about eating to much. Problem is I don't even care. Larry asked if I wanted to go to dinner tomorrow night with the kids. Told him he could go on his own. I have no desire to go out with the kids. I can't recall the last time we went out together. Right now the farther am from the kids the better. I am so sick and tired of them getting everything want and I have to struggle to pay the bills. Here's the latest one. Katie and Kevin were given ipods over a year ago. In a matter of a couple of months, Kevin lost his. Claims someone at Kroger stole it out of his jeans pocket. Mind you he had the jeans on. Katie got a new video ipod so she can watch a movie on the plane on her way to Holland this summer. And Kevin got her old one. They are spoiled rotten and are so ungrateful. Oh well such is life. |
Chris, I don't think I'd buy one of those printers either! You've had so many problems with yours. Glad to know that the MRI is scheduled. Hopefully they can get to the bottom of the pain issue. From different things you have said about the kids, it does sound like they are spoiled. As a step-mother also, it's really hard to keep quiet about things when all you want to really do is scream and yell about it! But then that makes us look like the bad guys. There have been many frustrating times throughout our 25+ years of marriage with the kids. Things aren't so bad now that they are older.
Met with my brothers and families at the old house this afternoon. We ate pizza and talked about lots of good times at the house. My parents bought it in 1966, so it's been around a while. When everyone was leaving, I started to get a bit emotional. My younger brother saw me, and he came back over and hugged me and cried right along with me. The other brother was outside, and Bob told him that maybe he needed to come back in and be with us for a couple minutes. He joined in the hugs and tears. |
Joanne, I've been kind of doing SB for the last few days, but not 100%. Just watching a bit closer than usual. I'm hoping that at my WW weigh in on Thursday, there will be a loss. On the home scales this morning, I was down a pound, so I was able to move my butterfly on the tracker.
Beautiful day here. Breezy but sunny. |
Hey There
Tammy- I have been on S/B for about 1 and 1/2 week. I haven't lost anything this week. I did mess up one day and had some icecream..What can I say. It is really hard for me to lose weight. But ,I just keep plugging along..
I weigh in on Thursday. Maybe I will stay the same.. I am cooking for Easter. It is Greek(orthodox) Easter as well as American. That makes it easy this year. Some years I have to do it twice. My hubby is Greek.I plan on there being 8-9 people here. Some may go elsewhere and that is fine.I know I will eat some things I shouldn't. Hello Everybody....Joanne |
What kind of foods do you fix for the Greek dinner? It will just be the 3 of us here. I had some ice cream yesterday, but a very small amount compared to what I would usually do.
|
It is supposed to be 74 today and maybe some thunderstorms later. Guess what they are calling for the rest of the week? Cold and snow! I don't want anymore snow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Just thought I'd vent a little. lol Have a great day!! |
Hey There
Tammy- Egg/lemon soup made with beef, Lamb and potatoes ,salad , pie, and a few extras.. I don't get too fancy.. So far 4 have commited.. My sister may bring something and the D/I/L may bring somthing..
Hello everybody. Back later....Joanne |
Good morning!! We had such a great trip!!! Wow-when you look at what other people have in other countries-you feel spoiled and rich!!!!! We mwt Isaac's wife who is wheelchair bound from a spinal infection. Can't even feed hersel but she is 100% better this year getting vitamin and ? injections when they have the $234 for a treatment . They live on top of a mountain-a large house with one bathroom whch is also used as a hostel at times. So primitive,
The part that got me was that washing clothes, and different items needed for her care, invoved 4 separate tubs and hand wringing. Brad and I helped with the wash. It's then hung on a clothesline and the breeze dries it beautifully except for rain that may occur often. We are now setting up a fund to buy a washing machine for them. And if there is any extra money-for her treatments. Can't say enough about our trip! Anne-we met the nicest mission team from a Salvation Army church in Calgary-they painted 4 rooms and ceilings in the house on Monday. We went with them to church on Sunday-to a church of God where the message was screamed-won't go back there again. We lugged the 51 lb suitcase around for a couple of days til we saw Isaac. on sat-I am telling you this backwards. Friday we went to Dunn's Falls but we didn't climb it like some-I will post a pic. There is so much poverty there-Isaac's bil is a taxi driver and has supported his 9 children. They all have to pay for their children's education. And the children are gorgeous and plote. I made friend's with Isaac's neice, Ashley. who is 9 and goes to a prep school. There is so much more to tell. Chris-I ma sorry for all you are going through and I will continue to pray. And for Ross-that disease is so hard-we know some people with it-especially Brad's ex-wife, Up early but will go back to bed after I put the rubbish out. maybe download my pics. Be grateful for what you have-lots of people have so much less and are happy. Mima |
Mima, I'm so glad you had a good trip!! I know of others who have gone to other countries and said the same thing about how fortunate we are to live here. It sounds like the washing machine would be wonderful for them. If you could PM your address, I would be happy to donate to the fund. Glad you are home, safe and sound. Get some rest!!
I met Carol and Melissa for lunch at 11:00. We were getting ready to leave, and it was 2:00! I can't believe we sat there that long. We had a good time though. I hope you are all warmer than we are. It is in the 20's and snowing again. |
Good afternoon.
Mima - nice to have you back. Glad you enjoyed your trip. I thought you were going for a week not just a couple of days. Whatever, glad you enjoyed it. I have seen pictures of those falls, with people walking them. My brother took a bus to the top when they were there. A washer will come in handy for them especially since his wife is not well. Those are expensive injections. I suppose they all are, but we never get to know how much anything costs here, as it is all covered under our health care. Tammy - Isn't it funny how time has a way of flying by. Glad you enjoyed yourself. I have a sinus headache going on today. It has been snowing since Sunday. We have more snow than we had all winter! It just isn't cold. Just at freezing, but that makes the roads icy. It is supposed to warm up next week. This is the last storm of winter (or the first of Spring), I hope. We now need rain. The only thing is, is that the snow is nice and white and clean. Spring is such a dirty time of year when it first appears. In just awhile, everything will come alive, then it will be beautiful. |
Good morning-we were there for 6 days. Just right!
Good news about the washing machine for now-Sunday school teacher said to put in a request to the church-they have mission money-so that's our plan. We need to meet with the mission Pastor next week. I had absolutely no stomache problems in jamaica but I have been sick for 2 days since I have been back-I did eat some lettuce and white bread at the airport-since I had been so well, I thought I could handle it. I'm a little better today. Kids will be here tomorrow and I am having Easter dinner. Very simple-ham, potato salad, macaroni salad, cole slaw etc. Making the triple chocolate cake for kids birthdays-my kids are 3 weeks apart in births and 16 years in age. No snow here but it finally rained last night, Hope you have better weather soon. Mima |
Anne, I hope the sinus headache is gone today! They can be so painful. It is snowing again here today. We don't have as much as we had in February. That was downright ridiculous!!
Amazing that you had no stomach problems in Jamaica!! Sorry to hear you have been sick. Enjoy the Easter dinner with your family. I got up this morning and hurt so bad and I was freezing. I went back to bed, and Bob put 2 extra blankets on me. I feel better now, but I still hurt some. It will just be the 3 of us for dinner on Sunday. We're having ham, green bean casserole, deviled eggs (Tim's request), maybe a potato, and some kind of bread or roll. Fresh vegie plate also!! |
Hello.
Mima - sorry you are not feeling well. Glad your stomach behaved in Jamacia. Now, I think you just have to be very vigilent about what you eating. Enjoy your dinner with your family. Tammy - I hate that freezing stuff, and I hate the pain. It just stopped snowing here late yesterday. It has been snowing lightly (mostly) since Sunday. Now the wind is going to start to blow. The weather makes us hurt. Hope you continue to feel better. My sinus headache seems to be gone - for NOW. Hope to heck it stays away. We are going to Edmonton for Easter. This is the first time in over 25 years that I have NOT cooked Easter dinner. My daughter is going to do it:carrot: :carrot: We will have Turkey, dressing, ham, sweet potatoes, fresh veggies, potatoes and gravy and rolls. For dessert, I make Danish Apple Cake. I do have to bake some brownies and something else today. We will go tomorrow and dinner will be on Sunday. There will be about 25 people this year, so now you know why I am so happy my daughter is DOING it:D Hi Joanne and Meme and Chris. Hope you gals are doing ok. |
Hey There
[B][SIZE="7"]HAPPY EASTER EVERYBODY...
The puppy has not been a pain in the butt today, I have made one pie today and will make a couple more tomorrow.I will have the soup done tomorrow too. That way I will have to only do the lamb and potatoes and salad on Sunday. There will be 6 of us.unless I get surprised with a drop in..Who knows. It will be in the 40's here tonight and tomorrow night. Unusual for this time of the year..This has been a crazy year in Fl Joanne |
Anne, I can understand why you are happy that someone else is doing the cooking with that many people!! Enjoy!! Glad the headache is gone. Danish Apple Cake sounds good right now!!
Joanne, I remember when I chaperoned the band to Disney World in Feb. 2004. It was so cold! Tim was sick, and I ended up buying him a sock cap at Disney. It was much warmer than that when we were there in June last year. |
Joanne - glad the puppy is doing better. You have done a lot already. Hmmm, sounds like you are having some cooler weather. It is windy here.
Tammy - I LOVE Danish Apple Cake. I made brownies today, to take with me. As for this sinus headache, it did go away, but I had to go out today, and the wind was blowing and hit me right in the forehead. I just KNEW it would come back! I sure hope it is gone by tomorrow. Everybody have a wonderful Easter. |
Good morning-woke up too early-will have to go back later. Lots to do today but Brad will vac and dust a little-and got to the store-we will have 12. Mmmm...your dinners all sound great. Fortunately we have a frig in the lanai,-a small one.
Kids getting here near 5 and we will go to Mike;s for dinner, Yeah!!!!!!Got a beautiful ham at BJ's. Sinus headaches are not fun! Had to call my credit card because the restaurant in Jamaica charged us for 5 meals instead of 4. Got a dispute in. It's going to be cooler here which is just right-high 80's next week. Bet your busy, Meme. Bye for now Mima |
I made some vegie dip last night, and I'll be starting to boil the eggs for the deviled eggs soon. Not much else planned for the day! Pretty lazy, right??
Anne, so sorry about that headache! We just switched to roadrunner from dial up. I have been trying to add a new address for Bob, and it won't work! I added one for me, and it's working fine. I guess I'll have to call tech support again. Mima, enjoy the time with the family. To those we haven't heard from, we'd love to hear from you! Have a Happy Easter everyone!!! |
Happy Easter_ Everyone got here on time and they are going to church with us-tried to entice Mike but they are very involved where they go.
Still feeling achy and weird. Have a wonderful day!!! He is risen-He is risen indeed!!! Mima |
I hope you all had a wonderful weekend with family and friends!! Mima, AMEN to He is risen!! We went to our old church this morning, and it felt so right! It's about 25-30 minutes from here, so maybe I'll just have to drive on Sunday mornings when the weather is good. I have a couple more churches that I want to visit closer to the new home though. It is still cold here, and the snow is still flying around.
The 3 of us had a nice dinner. We then sat and talked about taking a trip "out west" this summer. We've been to quite a few states, but none of those in north central part. I got online and requested info from Wyoming, North and South Dakota, Montana, and Idaho. Tim said we might as well take a long trip while he is still around to help us with the driving. Makes sense to me! |
New here/have fibro
Hi! Wasn't sure if I am posting in the right place or not.... I am new to the boards here. I've had fibro about 7 years now (at least). I've tried losing weight for many many years, but this time, I just feel the absolute urgency to do so! I've only gone up up up!
Glad to meet others in the same boat. |
You bet we are in the same boat. Hello.
We had a wonderful church service and then a nice dinner. And now we are leaving at 7 am to go to Key West. Tomorrow we will rest. Last week here. You have to keep some of your former things in your life-even for a while, Tammy. Snow-snow go away. Bye for now Mima Bet you are tired Meme. |
Hey There
Welcome ApGirl. What have you tried to lose weight? I went to W/W and now belong to Tops. It is a good support group.
I hope Everybody had a nice Easter. I didn't go to church. With company coming at noon someone had to cook. There was 6 of us. Just right. Everyone brought a little something.. It sprinkled most of the night. And that is all it did. Under the trees it is still dry as a bone. Looks like Mima is going back to the cold weather. What a strange year..We have had the heat on for the past few days. Lots to do today. Back later....Joanne |
ApGirl, I am currently doing WW. I don't stick to it as closely as I should, so I know that I would have lost more weight. It's a good program.
Joanne, it has been a strange year with the weather!! |
Well-we almost went to the Keys-always read the fine print-got to the ticket window and they wanted much more than the 88$ I saw in the ad. You had to book a week in advance-gave the free ticket to kids and they could split the cost-I guess they had a good day but long! Bobby is insisting that they pay me back but I don't want them to=it was my fault for not reading the fine print-we can go another time.
Going to the beach today-Brad wants to stay home which is fine with me-he is getting on my nerves!!!! Ha! Did get some stuff organized yesterday. Very hot and it's going to snow back home on Thurs. Bye for now Mima |
I've never been to the Keys. Maybe someday!! LOL to Brad getting on your nerves. Must be in the air!! Same thing here. It's still cool today, but nothing like it's been. We're in the 40's, so that isn't so bad. I got up and went to the Y for an hour this morning. Walked and did nautilus machines. Not many people there, so it was nice.
|
Hi.
Mima - it does pay to read the small print, alright. Too bad, but maybe another time you will go to the Keys. So Brad is getting on your nerves, is he. Well, I guess that just happens from time to time. Glad you had a good Easter. Tammy - sounds like you are in for a TRIP!!! Feel free to come on up to Canada, to Alberta. You would be more than welcome to come stay with us. We could take you to Banff and Jasper National Parks. The mountains are unbelievable. It would be so nice to meet you. If you get to the Dakotas you are only another day or two away. Glad you enjoyed your Easter as well. Joanne - Glad you had a nice Easter and that everybody brought something. That is a big help. It is 32 above today, and raining and snowing - intermittently. Gosh, I wish winter would get gone and that Spring would stablize. My sinuses are driving me nuts. Headache after headache. Apparently I am NOT supposed to take anything with an antihystamine in it, as it makes my heart race, even with medication to slow the darn thing down. Just a nose spray, but only for 3 days. I AM cheating and taking a Tylenol allergy/sinus pill, but only one, to take the edge of the face. The wind just doesn't stop blowing, and it is SUCH a dirty time of year. I love Spring, when everything starts to turn green and the leaves come out. We had 28 people over for Easter (my daughter's house). I, of course, helped her to make dinner and it was an absolutley wonderful day. My nephew was there with his little one, and I haven't seen him for 2 years. The little guy is soooo cute. My own gkids are growing up so fast. Miss Ashley is now 9 yrs, and James is 8 and little Meela is coming on 11 months old. She is sure getting around now, and of course, babies are so cute between the ages of 9 months and 2 years. So much growing and learning. Well, I have written a book - sorry about that. Meme - where the heck are YOU???? Hope you are feeling better. |
Hey There
Mima- I have lived in Fl. all my life and haven't got to the Keys yet.. Chances are not good that I ever will, unless, one of our kids goes and invites us to go.It must be the time of the year when we all would like to send the hubbies for a retread.
Happy- Everything is in bloom here. The oaks are the worse right now. My hubby and I have to take medication. Tammy- It has been raining for 2 days. We are not complaining as we need it so bad.I just hate standing out trying to get Christie to pee or so forth for 15-20 min ,in the rain. I have a short fuse at that time.. Hello Meme- I hope your Easter was good...Joanne |
Anne, I'll have to mention that to my husband when he sits down to plan our route. It would be awesome to meet!! We don't have to have passports yet do we? I don't blame you for taking that sinus pill. You need relief!! I can't believe Meela will be 11 mo. old already! Time sure flies.
Joanne, LOL about the hubbies needing a retread!! I can understand about the short fuse when standing outside with Christie. Sounds very familiar. Kramer goes out and I swear he has to sniff every single blade of grass that is in the yard. My husband has been to Key West and some others. His nieces and former SIL lived in Key West. They had a jewelry store called the Beachcomber there. We still don't know the exact day and time for the house closing. We are pretty sure it is Friday (the 13th!!!), but not sure of the time. I will be sooooo glad when it is over. |
Tammy-we are taking a train ride to ND this late summer. Then pick up a bus tour of some of the parks. Another couple might go with us-probably september as Brad has to work in the summer,
What a great time together on the beach, Mr. Evan loves the water and the wabes!!! evan's words. Then Bobby treated us all to lunch. they are going home tonight. Great visit, Got a call from the friend who stood me up-I'm supposed to call her the night before!!!! The countdown is on!!! It rained good last night-our lawn is all dried up. My brother and his wife are on Tybee ? Island in GA. Bye for now-Mima |
Mornin-my kids never left ubtil 11:00 pm instead of 6:10. Bobby cancelled work but Suzanne had a big meeting!!! Mima
|
Mima, we'll be heading out west in mid-June if all goes as planned. I don't think we're going to manage to get in as much as we want to. Bob was looking over the maps earlier today. It has been raining here the past couple of days. It is cold and the wind is blowing. Feels like winter. I've heard of that island in GA, but I don't know where it is.
I think I need a nap. |
It's off Savannah. We are going to have snow at home on Sun and rain all week so we will take our time going home. Had to write 3 papers for Missions yesterday, One went into cyberspace so I had to start over. Brad is calmer. I am calmer-we were reacating to each other, Going to lunch with that girl who stood me up!!!! We;ll see. ha. It;s HOT here.
So much stuff to get ready!!! Bye Mima |
