Well I am a grandma now my son and his girlfriend had a baby girl on the 24th. Her name is Lindsey. She was tiny only 6 lbs. But she is doing good. Only the girlfriend took tyenol 3 while she was pregant and the baby tested postive and the county took her away but, we went to court today and she will be placed with her grandmother in OKC (this is my step son's mom) So I get to go and see her on saturday. I can not wait to see her. We have court on the 11th and I am sure we will find out a lot more. Please pray fo us. This kind of stress is killing my diet. I am craving alot of sweets. I know it will bet better. I am trying to be real good, but it was really hard. I will post some pictures later.

Hang in there, Nosugar. You want to be a healthy grandma for that wee munchkin. I didn't realize Tylenol 3 was a no-no while preggers!

I am back up to 201 but my BGL tests OK - 4.8 or 86.4 this morning. I need to get my HA1C checked soon - must check when the 6 months is up.

Now that I have the BGL in control, I need to work on the weight. I may even have to exercise officially! Oy! I'm very active with gardening and stuff but need something for weightloss and stamina. Tonight I will ignore my sore knee and go for a walk after dinner, weather permitting.

Tylenol 3 has codiene, which shows up as morphine/heroin on any simple test.
Sorry to hear Nosugar, I'm sure she will get it straightened out... if she took it without a script, she'll have a few extra issues, but as long as she can show she's not an addict... (Sorry, I was a substance abuse counselor for a long time)....

Just a quick Hello this morning. I am in a rotten mood. I still have my extra 3.6 lbs of www and as of first thing this morning I definitely did not deserve it. Since then I've been very busy trying to turn it into a self-fulfilling prophecy. Hope I lose this bad mood before I do. Darn, it's like the whole month of June never even happened and I'm back where I was at the end of May. Anyway, gang, I hope the rest of you are all doing the good stuff even though I am not, but I refuse to move my ticker backwards. I will get back in the groove. Sooner, rather than later, I hope. See you soon.

Well gang, sorry i've been missing in action...I've been catching up on all of y our posts and I must say it's helped to get me reconnected..i'd like to respond to everybody but all I can say is that it's good to see others I have so much in common with..

I had a trip weekend before last...lots of eating out, free drinks...oh my....i didn't go toooverboard actually...got lots of walking and some swimming in...but on coming home..couldn't get back in to the swing of things..haven't followed my usual diet/ exercise regimen...didn't come back to the web --the support of the 3 hr diet .com site and this site....this is my first time on in 2 wks...

i'd only been following my plan for 3 wks and had an initial 12 lb lost the 1st week and then nothing..now gained 7.5 of that back..:(


the good things are that it was only 7.5 lbs...and i had my eye exam and no effects from the diabetes..i've succumbed and ordered bifocals....

Yesterday had to attend computer training at work and they had candy all over the place..i gave in to the chocolate monster and felt pretty crummey yesterday and last night...had class again today but didn't eat any sugar this time..

i'm taking it one day at a time and will have to start over...one minute at a time here...

Me again, I was finishing up reading and realized that most of us our pet owners..i have 2 dogs and 1 cat..Angel is the dog in the picture , but Lillie is my other peke / chihuahua..we'll have to get her picture in here somehow..

The Cat..Yellow Kitty is his name..is the reason for this post ....he was a homeless kitty that had a bad leg that we took in , took to vet, and now he is ours whether we like it or not..he keeps bringing us little presents...mostly chipmunks but lately a little variety: a bird, a mouse, and a frog..mostly they are intact , but I don't think he can help himself and he'll eat the head and leave the rest at the back door ...or once..through the flap in our screen door in to the living room:mad: .............almost stepped on it...uggggggh

ANy suggestons ? People tell me he's giving us a present, trying to feed the rest of the pack, trying to earn his keep....but, how do I stop it?

MOONGODDESS: You can't stop YellowKitty. Its a cat's nature to pounce on small prey. :shrug: I have six cats, and we get all kinds of offerings. Mostly voles. They are not endangered, and actually mess up the garden, so the kitties are doing us a favor. :) Feed him well, and eventually, he may just get fat and lazy and stop going after the rodents in the yard. I see you are a Georgia resident. I live outside of Atlanta too...north near Norcross. Where are you?

Hey everyone.. finally had a moment to post.. we got home yesterday.. its wonderful to have my sisters and mom with me.. we are laughing alot and remembering and catching up..and playing at being a tourist like them..i miss talking to u all ..meowee cheer up girlfriend and put one foot in front of the other..tomorrow is abrand new day..welcome back nosugar.. and hello to all the other chickies and rooster..they liked my house :D so all the hard work was worth it (((((((((hugs))))))) rosey :wave:

Weigh in this morning,up 2.8lbs. This gaining has got to stop. It isn't helping my foot and ankle.
Have 2 cats and 2 dogs. We get little gifts all the time. Had a mouse in bed one morning.

Hi all.

My DN is on his way to Oklahoma... I got upset at him mom because she agreed to let him be my ringbearer 14 months ago, and now, she says she's not going to take him out of school, even for a day, to come back for my wedding. So now I'm down my orginal Maid of Honor, a bridesmaid, and my ringbearer. I'm thinking about having Skye do it.
