Hi Friends: Carol, I wonder what is making you so hungry? I have had this problem sometimes with fasting; on my eating days I over eat, as if me and my body are making up for the fast.
I work hard to stay in my eating window of 8 hours now, and make sure I have plenty of good food, planned food. The first meal after a long fast takes time, I might have 3-4 little snack to make up the meal and it takes over an hour to eat because I eat one thing and wait a few minutes to see if I am still hungry and need more. Then I have something else.
I did not weigh today, as planned because I am eating again. Yesterday I had cheese and keto scones for breakfast which was fine. Then we went to see DD and tried this takeout place in her town that I heard about through the celiac network. They have gluten free dedicated fryers. So we ordered fish and chips and two kinds of chicken wings and some poutine. (A uniquely Canadian dish of fries covered with cheese curds and gravy, which is the classic version. You can also get other "toppings" to add in some places) It was all pretty good, and stuff I rarely get. The fish and wings were just slightly dry, but ok and it was a nice treat. For dessert I had an apple, needed to "cleanse" my palate of the grease.
Today I will plan yoghurt and fruit for brunch and am making pot roast for the other DD coming for supper tonight. and then fasting tomorrow. SO next planned weigh-in will be Tuesday am.
Have a good day everyone

I know! I know! I ate spaghetti for dinner. Pure carbs. Makes you feel full but no long term satiety. Makes you retain fluid. We don't really understand these things they tell us until you experience it yourself. I guess this is why DH gets hungry every 2 hours.
