WHOLE WHEAT CREPES
1 egg
1 1/4 CUPS MILK
1 CUP WHOLE WHEAT FLOUR
1.Place the egg and milk in a blender or food processor, add the flour and work for 30 seconds until smooth. Leave to stand for 30 minutes to thicken.
2.Grease a 6" omelet pan and place over a moderate heat. Pour in 1TBL of batter, tilting the pan to coat the bottom evenly.
3.Cook until underside is brown, then turn over and cook for 10 seconds.
4. Turn onto a plae and repeat with the remaining batter to make about 12 crepes. Stack them interleaved with waxed paper and keep warm.
NOTES: Can use BUCKWHEAT FLOUR instead of the WW. Haven't tried these yet either.
I found this recipe on the web:
Chocolate-Mascarpone Phyllo Triangles
Submitted by: Mary Bayramian
These are absolutely delicious, flaky and delicate, with a chocolate mascarpone pecan filling. Rich, but not too sweet. Once you try creating with phyllo, it is not difficult as long as you follow instructions. Be sure to keep the sheets under a damp cloth while preparing the triangles. Drizzle each triangle with a little honey when serving.
Servings: 18
Ingredients:
2 cups mascarpone cheese
1/3 cup HERSHEY'S(R) Cocoa Powder
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup honey (use agave)
3/4 cup chopped pecans
2 cups clarified butter
1 (16 ounce) package phyllo dough
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
2. In a medium bowl, beat together the mascarpone cheese, HERSHEY'S (R) Cocoa Powder, vanilla extract and honey. Mix in pecans.
3. Brush top of one sheet of phyllo dough with clarified butter, and fold in half lengthwise. Place two heaping tablespoons of the mascarpone cheese mixture in one corner of the folded phyllo sheet. Fold sheet over the filling, forming a triangle. Trim ragged edges. Repeat with remaining phyllo sheets.
4. Place triangles seam side down on a medium baking sheet, brush with remaining butter, and bake in the preheated oven 20 minutes, or until golden brown.
THey do make WW as well as spelt phyllo.
Oh wow......would one purchase those in a health food store probably.........
Yes, that's where I found them.
Just to let you know, if you want a bigger response to your questions, post them on our SB WEEKLY SUPPORT BOARD. That's where we all congregate and start a new weekly board each Monday. Most don't venture on the recipe boards until we post new recipes, so not many people will see your message.
We'd love for you to join us at any time!!!
Happy Holidays!

Thank you Debbie....I will do that.......
1 (16 ounce) package phyllo dough
Can you eat phyllo dough on Sugar Busters? I sure am getting confused reading some of these recipes. Phyllo dough is not made with whole grains is it?
