Good Morning everyone!

Its suppose to be nice today and I have a "nothing" day, so can stay home. That being said, I'm glad we are suppose to go up to 30C (86F) today as the rabbit peed on our down duvet last night, so it has to get washed and hung on the line today. Silly wabbit! or should I say silly girls for taking him out of his cage? oh well, I live in a zoo I tell ya! And our poor hamster isn't doing well. I think she is constipated and gave her mineral oil and water with a dropper, but the poor thing is sleeping in her bathroom corner mewing like a kitten. She had been bleeding but that seems to have stop. I just hate thinking she may be in pain. Hubby left this morning and won't be back till Sat. He's been home every night since Fri, so not to bad. Except he forgot to bring the bedding in from his truck while he was home, so he won't have a nice clean bed to crawl into tonight, oh well, he's a big boy!

2Bpretty, congrats on the weight loss! 12 pounds is a lot Wow Glad to hear that your doc is right on top of things and getting you looked at right away. As said before keep us posted.

Cathy, C and I went to the Chiro on tues, boy I sure was sore yesterday, as was C, I don't know how I'm going to get her back in next tues! I know it will be better in the long run. The last time I was at the chiro was in 2001, when the gov't decided to quit paying for it. But I found out its only $25 a visit and we have extended health and will get 80% back.

Anyway I should go and make some more coffee and get some things done so that I can spend the afternoon outside.

Take care everyone and have a wonderful day,
K

Default Hi Chicks!

I joined WW on Tuesday..so far I'm on my 2nd on program day! not that hard when you have 32 points to play with. I saw my local foot doc Tuesday. I have an ulcer on my bad ankle that's been slow to heal, so he prescribed me a cream to put on it. I picked it up at Wally World today, and I almost fainted. The *^&%@ stuff costs $121 a tube! It better work!

Leenie: Are you getting any effects from 'Beryl' up there?

Cathy: It's hot here too Thank God for air conditioning!

Buddly: I hope your back (and your animals) will be feeling better soon.

4 Boys: How are your babies doing with their teeth?

NTFTBP: Congrats on your 12 lbs. Please let us know how your mammogram goes.

Liz:

Trish: Thinking of you and your friend

Have a good evening everyone!

Good Morning

Happy Saturday to you all. Joanne thanks for your prayers for little Jess.

She got out of surgery yesterday around 4ish. They only took 1/2 of what they were suposed to, dunno why? but it will take a few weeks for the biopsy results to come back. They did open her airways so she can breath better, so we will sit and wait to see where we go from here. Jess got on the phone when my sister called and asked me to take her shopping LOLOL she's is such a girl.

N2F2BP.... please let us know how you make out at the doctors okay... our prayers are w/you.

Joanne thats alot of money for the cream, so yes ! I hope it works for you Congrats for joining WW... IMHO I think they are one of the best plans out there. Very diet friendly.

Buddly how's your hamster, poor little thing. I have a dog and two fish, thats enuf for me...I barely have time for the house with working, my DD, and the animals. If I were to stay home, I'd get 2 more puppies and prob a guinea pig LOLOL I love animals.

Grem whats happening

Cathy, whatcha doing this weekend? yep busy is the word for sure.

Tippy woman, we missed yah. How's the house?

Liz do you get off for August? did I remember right?

Well I don't have much news on my friends front except that she still is stable. I am so glad that the surgery went well with your neice Leenie. not2fat2bpretty I hope all goes will with your lump and I am sorry about your friend moving that is really rough. Joanne I hope that your foot is getting better. I hope all is going well Budley, Cathy, Grem and Tippy. Not much planned for this weekend. DH is installing ceiling fans in the kids rooms. He is not very handy but he sure tries bless his heart. I could probably do it better but that would be stepping on toes and I don't want to do that. Anyway have a great weekend.

Hi everyone,
Our computer has been acting up a bit, I think it could be the heat. We blew all the dust out and A has been burning stuff to delete files.
I feel like I'm melting here, not that I'm complaining much as the cold winter will be here before I'm ready.
Our poor little hamster past away Friday night. I thought she was doing better in the morning as she had pulled the paper towel over to cover herself and she was moving from corner to corner through out the day and not crying. At least now I know she isn't suffering anymore. We buried her under a clematis plant I bought last week. (our last hamster is under a burning bush) That is the part about having animals that I hate. We still have a dog, rabbit, two cockatiels, and a bunch of fish. We only had a hamster until 9/11 happened and I decided life was to darn short, so if the kids want a dog what the heck and things just multiplied after that, funny how animals do that!!
Other than that all is good. Its to hot to eat much so its been salads the last few days, so that has to be good.

Leenie glad to hear that your niece made it through surgery, sure hope everything else comes out fine.
Trish its good that your friend is stable, gives everyone a bit more time.

Anyway I should get going and jump into a cool shower
Take care everyone,
K

Hey Liz, good to see yah. Glad things are going well

Buddly sorry to hear about your hamster, awww poor little thing huh. Well Im sure you gave it a great life while it was here. I hate losing any kind of animal, even a fish bothers me lol. I'm just a sap I guess.

Trish your DH sounds wonderful, there are lots of guys who wouldn't even try. I'm glad your friend is stable, she is in my prayers along with you

I just finished folding a ton of laundry, now to go outside in this cloudy weather and go swimming... summers are short here so I'm getting in as much pool time as possible ya know lol.

Have a good sunday everyone HUGS !!!
