good morning gang

I had to get up early and color my hair bec the grey was so bad and it just couldn't wait another day - so no exercise.

I am busy with payroll and stuff.

My best friend from high school is in from Oklahoma, so we are going to lunch today and I'm hoping to be able to take the rest of the afternoon off to spend with her.

It is raining cats and dogs down here - but that's ok - we still need that rain.

Hope everybody has a great day!

hugs,
Cathy

Hi everyone, I'm back....it's been a generally crappy week and yesterday was the one year anniversary of a very bad event for me....I sulked around the house for most of the day but then kicked myself in the butt and told myself to STOP OBSESSING about the past, whats done is done. This morning I renewed my commitment to get back in gear with exercise and closely watch my diet.

my health both physical and mental need some tweaking.

Hi everyone,

I finally got to post on this thread before 5 or 6!

As I said yesterday, I have been really bothered by my depression lately...I don't know if it is because the wedding is coming up and I feel a lot of pressure, or what, but I haven't been motivated to do anything and have barely been able to shower and brush my teeth...actually, sometimes I can't even do that. We have a lot of things planned this weekend and I really feel like blowing them all off. Tonight, Reggie will be staying the night at his brother's so at least I will have some quiet time to lay around. Tomorrow, we are going to a concert in the park and then to the drive-in movies to see "Fantastic Four" with a couple of teenagers. That should be fun, but I'm just not in the mood to be social.

Liz...
It sounds like a tough time of year for you, I'm sorry to hear about your son's death.

Cathy...
There is just nothing like spending time with old friends, huh? I love that. I look forward to one of my friends since grade school coming to my wedding. We are always so silly when we are together!

Well, have a nice day everyone.

Hi everyone,

Liz, you just rock. All that so early for a night person. I got up early and hiked with my dogs before the weather turned to hot. But you've got me beat, hands down.

Chris, hav eyou talked to your dr. about the depression. I know the big event will play into it, but you should be doing better. Maybe a tweak of the meds if y ou're on them, or something. Definitely force yourself to exercise a little every day so that "high" you get from exercising will last through the day. I sure hope you're doing better today.

Leenie, hi there.

Cathy, I love the looks of just colored hair. I'd definitely give up my walk for it. Plus you're seeing an old friend. Can't look old and gray, right?!?!?!

TTYL.

Leenie - hiya!

Trooworld – Oh yeah it was humid for sure. Thought it was going to rain the way the clouds were looking. I was out in Murrieta this evening at my aunts house. Was pretty nice there, for the evening. No wind tho, but nice outside. Now I know who to go to so I can get smoothie recipes Congrats on setting a wedding date James and I have set a few *blush* One was for October 2001, but we ended up buying a house in April 2001 and that ate up all our money. Now we have a date set for either March or October 2007. I’m aiming for cooler weather hehhehe, but March was choice because we first met on March 29th 1997. So it’s got it’s sentimental values

Marble – I’m sorry to hear about your day yesterday *big hugz*

Liz - *big hugz* You are right, it’s important never to forget. My grandmother died on January 15th 1995. The hard part is, that’s my oldest sister’s birthday. So it’s been hard to forget, but we’ve made it a day of celebration in memories of all the good things. We do this the day before on the 14th. We also take out candles and a photo albumn. But we also go to the local Thai temple and hold a prayer ceremony for her as well.

Today I’m going to do some shopping at the Mills with my older sister who is visiting. Spend some time with my family that has come out from Ohio. I will be leaving my credit card at home tho

I’ve got a state exam this Saturday…. Test #2 of 3. So I’ll be studying my butt off when I get home. Only problem tho, I have league tonight so I won’t get as much in as I would like.

Not much has changed today. I’m still waiting for Uncle TOM and Aunt Flo to go home. Man… I’ve had cramps from HECK I’ll be glad when they are gone! It’s been a bit weird, I spotted for a week before I started. I think the birth control pills they have me on are trying to regulate me. I read somewhere that there is a non-birth control method that can be used to regulate your cycles. I don’t remember which forum I read it in, but I’m wondering if it’s worth switching over…. Ahhh… things to ponder about….

Well I’m outta here folks… hope everyone has a good day!

Sue…

Just popping in to say Hi Everyone!
Not much new here. More rain again today, getting very tired of that. Get to see if the tar the girls and I put on the roof is working to stop the leak.
Big brothers and big sisters picked up two big boxes of books and two bags of "stuff" this morning. Its nice to be getting rid of some of this clutter. The girls and I went through four boxes of books and ended up keeping only one, that is a huge accomplishment for us. Found a whole corner in our addition. The one good thing with this rain is we will be able to have a fire and burn all the paper garbage and not have to worry about it getting out of hand. We'll have to go and pick up some wienies first tho.
I guess the girls and I will be making a trip to town tomorrow as dd13 wants to go to the library and dd17 would really apppreciate the new Harry Potter book. Plus I should check on my mom's house, I was last there on Monday and the insurance lady said someone should look in on it every 72 hours.
to Liz and Marble
Have a great day everyone. K
