Default Thursday Chat....May 26

Hi everyone.....it's after midnight somewhere....so I thought I would start this.

DH is feeling a lot better now....he is getting up....walking with help....sitting in the chair....eating everything....tomorrow he starts rehab.

I am doing ok....it is spring time.....I usually feel better then....I was told by the counselor not to go off the Celexa...ever....so I am holding up good....especially now that DH is doing better.

Good Morning Gals,
April.I am glad your husband is improving..............very glad............there is hope in all situations! Where are you? Are you back home or still with family? I was glad to read the other day that you are contining eating on the Core Plan. That is so SMART of you..to continue taking GOOD care of YOU.so you can care for him!

I am still in training for the July 4th 10K.......walking 3 miles or a little more everyday. By mid June I will increase it to 4 miles a day. The walking itself isnt bad.it is just MAKING the time for it. I MUST exercise first thing or it gets shoved back all day and then I really do not want to exercise!

Grandaughters 5th grade graduation is tomorrow night ( sigh) She is much taller than me now and has such a sweet sweet spirit about her. I hope she endures middle school where kids can be vicious.......she is tender hearted& kinder than kind!

Later taters
Enjoy this day.It is a GIFT FROM GOD! Don't take it for granted!

Byeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

good morning gang!

April - so glad to hear that your dh is improving! take care of yourself so you can take care of him too. hugs!

Liz - hope all is well! I'm sure you are busy as always!

Cin - I totally agree - walking is NOT the problem - making the TIME is! I am so very proud of you! getting in 3 miles everyday and heading towards your 10k!!!! wish I could be there to walk it with you! wouldn't that be a hoot! did you notice our exercise thread that Leenie started? you could post your miles or time on there if you would like. And I understand your concerns for your dear sweet granddaughter ... "she is tenderhearted and kinder than kind" - what a true blessing that is! but yes, we worry about them at school and around others that can be mean and cruel and vicious. I'm sure she will find her way, with the love, support, guidance and prayers of her family and friends.

We saw Star Wars last night. It was awesome, but dark. I just didn't want Skywalker to turn to the dark side!

Sooooooooo we didn't get home til after 11 and I did not drag myself out of bed this morning for exercise. But hey - there is always tomorrow

hope everybody has a great day!

hugs,
cathy

the weather is still crummy here but it's getting warmer, I could turn the heat off today...YIPPEE a long weekend is coming.

oooh I remember my daughter and middle school, all of a sudden they are *grown up*, it was 7th grade, and I didn't know ANYTHING about ANYTHING, I was hopelessly OLD at the age of 33-34 and totally clueless.....

I did teach her a very important lesson at that time... NEVER take the last tampon without telling me! Her poor father was another story....I remember him complaining that he had to go to Walmart at 7AM...because they were "not prepared" when she slept over....he was embarrassed to buy tampons so he mixed them in with golf balls and paper towels!

Hi Gang! My time on-line is very limited these days. I usually pop in to check on everyone, but that's about it.

I am almost finished completely cleaning and reorganizing the kitchen. Oy vey! I was brutal! I removed everything that I had not used in a year or so. Had two big boxes to go to the rummage sale at church.

Church activities keep me busy too. Pastor keeps coming up with things we should do and it keeps the church humming with new members.

Am fine health wise, just soooo busy.

Home from a stressful shift......in the ER........I am feeling very anxious at work these days and I don't know why.

DD 7 is at a playdate including supper...........

DD13 is at a drama rehersal.........

Hubby is working evenings............

I'm having a nice cold beer....it is hot and sunny out........I got all my plants in last night....feels good.

Hubby has been buying pads and tampons for me for 19 years and has no problem with it whatsoever.........he takes good care of my dd13 as well.........we are so lucky to have him!............poor guy is outnumbered............but he doesn't seem to mind.

Nice to see everyone today....I'm going to relax for a couple hours.

Be well!

Sigh… well I got my paper in. No problem there… I’m a bit depressed about my calculus exam tho… I completely spaced out. Then after I turned the exam in I remember everything. I feel like a dork! I studied soo hard for that exam :’(

I think I’m going to go in and talk with my instructor personally. See if he do something for me, like maybe test me person to person or by visually watching me… cause I can do the work… I just think with all the stress at work and then getting behind… BLAH!

Check out my avatar That’s my Heidi Monster in her Mummy disguise heheheh…she got into the toilet paper… OY what a mess… and then the kid thought it was funny to wrap her up. She walked around the house like that for a while til she started to eat it off her LOL. She’s a teacup, 6 months old and is about 2.5-3 lbs

Thanks for all the well wishes on my exam and paper… I gonna go to bed… I’m exhausted emotionally, physically and spiritually. It’s amazing how much praying you can get done in 2 hours… I think that’s all I did during my exam… ICK!

Take care everyone…
Sue…

P.S. ooh did I mention I gained this week... :-P I can't wait til after summer school... I'll have two months off to de-stress...
