  • Hi Ladies
I saw the doctor Monday, and he gave me Lexapro. I don't know if I'm going to be able to continue taking it. My anxiety has been worse in the past day I'm going to give it one more day (today), and if I still feel this way, I'm giving it up and calling the doctor.

Leenie: Take it easy . Maybe you should call the dr. for yourself!

Cathy: It's a busy time of year . Take care of yourself-you're doing great with your exercise!

CIN: I'm glad to here everything went well with your niece. Colonoscopy The worst part is the prep-the meds are pretty good

Tippy: Sounds like your church is thriving . Hang in there with your renovations-the end result is worth the hassle

Hope everyone has a great day!
  • Hi everyone,

I haven't been here in a while. I have been feeling really well this month.....no sadness....am still taking the natural antidepressants....plus the vitamins the naturopath has prescribed. Also I have some full spectrum light bulbs in some of the rooms in the house....the Naturopath said that I should get them.

Maybe there is something to having withdrawal symptoms from the Celexa for months.....after being off the Celexa for 4 months....1/2 the amount of time I took it....it was like a light bulb switched on....& suddenly I was feeling good.

I have been getting out with friends....walking some....doing better with my eating.

This is the time of year that I usually feel sad....it is a wonderful feeling to feel good.....haven't felt like that in years.

    Homebound....regular antidepressants....like Lexapro....usually take 4 to 6 weeks to start working.

    P.S.....it is snowing here today.

  • Our carpenter came late yesterday and we discussed what needed to be done. In a farmhouse as old as this one, we don't know what we'll find when he starts tearing it apart! Oh fun! The really neat part though is that his mother is a church member and Roger worked with his father about 30 years ago! I'll be telling him to use our microwave and refrigerator if he wants to. In fact, Roger said that if we have to leave the house, we'll give him a key! Isn't that a nice way to live!? He also knows the whole crew that will be putting up the garage. Heck, he's probably related to some of them!

Roger has decided to do the electrical and plumbing himself since he knows that stuff. He's kinda a jack-of-all-trades. Can fix about everything.

My cats are going to have nervous breakdowns with the noise so I'm moving their litter boxes out of the room being remodeled and they're going upstairs. Yesterday, while Scott the carpenter was here, Brat the cat crawled under the furniture on his belly. Poor strange kitty!
  • I feel silly now...

I posted on the wrong day here's my post I moved it

    Hello Everyone!

Leenie – This is a reply from Wednesday’s Post… definitely going to be setting a new goal. I’m just happy I didn’t gain it all back and then some hehehe!

Cathy – I wish I had your motivation to get up early to work out! I have a hard time getting up even to go to work LOL! I’m like… here’s the alarm, hit the snooze, here’s the alarm, hit the snooze

CIN – I’m glad your testing went well *huggerz*

Tippy – mud + dog = fun! Hehehe…I remember when I first moved out to California with my parents. The house we bought had no front lawn. So my father tilled the dirt to loosen it up and then the day our sod was delivered, it rained! So we were sinking in the mud when we were laying the sod. I lost my shoes so many times that we all decided to put on shorts and take off the shoes. Needless to say that was a bad idea because of the mushy mud, the lawn now (12 years later) doesn’t drain properly hehehe so you get a puddle in the middle of the lawn. But it was an experience!

    KO - **HUGGERZ**

Today I had a really bad day at work. I’ve been having some problems with a kid in my 4th period class. Several times I have asked him to keep his hands to himself. He has this habit of touching me every chance he gets. Today he took a swipe at my cellphone which I have hooked to my belt on my pants and right in the middle of class I turn around and look at him and go “If you ever TOUCH ME AGAIN I’m going to send you straight out of this class into the principals office”. Sigh, the Instructor I was assisting asked if I wanted to file a referral but I said no, this was his last warning. GRRR?!

I have a lot of patience, but today he just “irked” me the wrong way. How many times do you have to ask someone to stop. I just wanna JUMP- SCREAM – KICK – FLAIL – and FLOP on the floor heheheh…goodness, I hope this is not a sign that the relatives (Uncle TOM and Aunt Flo) are going to be here soon… eeek!

okie… I’m better now. Just had to get that out!

I hope everyone is having a better day than me

    Heheh take care everyone!
