SUEMARIE REPORTING FOR DUTY MAMM!
I've been rather busy between work and school and homework hehehe. BUT! As I promised, I did go to see the nutritional dude at my school *grins* He weighed me, did this and that, asked me to recall what I had eaten in the last 3 days. Basically he looked everything over, asked about my asthma and my back problems and stuff. When he looked over my food consumption for the last three days, he said that I am not drinking enough water and suggests 64 oz a day, and that I do not have enough fruits, veggies in my diet, plus I need diary (milk) since I don’t really have that in there at all. He’s going to evaluate my info that I filled out and I have another appointment with him next Wednesday. He’s asked me to keep a good journal between the time we talked and the next time we meet so he can evaluate that.
The Last time I weighed myself I was 370lbs, I did not get the chance to weigh myself in a few days, but I honestly think, between his talking, and this support group, I can ask a lot of questions and I think I’ll be ok! I’ve lost those 7-8lbs and have managed to keep them off so far… *blush* yes so far, and I plan on keeping it off, I haven’t strayed from my path yet! Honestly, it hasn’t been to hard yet, as funny as that sounds. Maybe it’s because my time is more monopolized between work and school that I’m not sitting at home thinking I hear the chicken in the fridge calling my name or something.
Of course the real test will come during this summer. Since I work in the education field, I get summer off. Plus, I also do not plan on taking any classes either. They are only offering the ones I need in their fast 5 week courses. It’s hard going from 18 weeks at community college down to 10 weeks at the university, so imagine 5 weeks… EEEK! Anyways, the real test will be, can I sit home and not think about what’s in the fridge? I’ll have to stack it with fruits and veggies so that if I really get bad cravings I can munch on that instead of potato chips and cheetos!
Other than that everything is great! I LOVE MY JOB! Today I had the principal pull me aside to tell me that the instructor I worked with is very pleased with me. She mentioned that I got one of her students to turn in class work and since day one, he’s never done a thing in her class. I didn’t know this, all I know is he and I were talking about stuff and I asked him how come he wasn’t working on his assignment, and one thing led to another and he did a page and turned it in. I just know that the kids relate to me as I do to them and it’s rather kewl to hear the kids go “Oh yeah she’s kewl” and they greet me in the halls or outside when I go between classes. *big cheesy grin*
I’m having a good day hehehe… How is everyone else doing?
