All was going perfectly fine until 8:30pm when I had a very loud need for bittersweet Belgian chocolate. Mainly because it has no salt but tastes great. The health food store closes at 9pm and I knew it wasn't snowing anymore. So I threw on presentable clothes and went out. Snow was spitting on my car as I drove. But the wet roads were not iced over. I was home by 9pm, eating my 1.8 oz of chocolate i do not feel discouraged....yet. So much for dieting today. But I WILL remain eating very low sodium. On the up side, no grains/starches today |
Sunday was better in terms of calories. Only got 2 1/2 hours sleep Sunday night. So that will impede weight loss. Am craving food. So be it. Have to wait in today until dr's office calls back, which may not be until 5pm or later? I called them at 9am. I wouldn't mind waiting in all day. But I prefer to not go out after dark in the freezing cold to grocery shop. I want to buy 2 turkey thighs for thanksgiving. I will stay away from the higher calorie foods. Just salad and turkey thighs. Will remove all visible fat and skin before cooking. |
Today I went forraging in my cabinet for any baking soda I forgot to throw out. Unfortunately I found a tiny bulk bag of it. Sadly, still active. The gingerbread pancakes were delicious. Idk how many calories I had coffee apple skinless turkey thigh with all visible fat removed before cooking. Brussels sprouts salad with low calorie feta, Greek olives, carrot, snap peas and spring mix. 40 cal. Dressing pancakes dinner will be stir fry. With no oil. |

Idk what came over me today. I was in the TJs and health food store shared parking lot. I left TJs with frozen strawberries. Then I ant go the health food store and bought a 420 cloi bg of vegan puffs. Anticipated calories for the day coffee 100 puffs 420 beries with lemon and wild cheery juice 200 chicken chili 330 Brussels sprouts 50 fat free milk 150 chocolate 400! 1650 total 1220 |
I don't know what it is that justifies a bag of puffs. I felt grumpy at TJs. I wanted comfort food. So I went to the health food store and bought the bag if puffs. $1.80 on sale for 5 more days. I SO wish I could get back to feeling great and solid with restricting. When I ate between 500 and 600 calories per day. Weeks and months in end. Nothing deterred me from the quest. And I lost weight so efficiently! I ended up being size 3 jeans. Two very small low cal, very low carb meals and a bit of coffee per day. Sure my heart was effected because there was not enough nutrition to support it. But at least the option to eat less was there. I would never eat that little again. But I want to not be owned by cravings. And I want to fit into the size 7 jeans. Sure I know the size 3 and 1 jeans should be donated to goodwill. But I would LOVE to wear them again. I have not worn them in 2 or 3 years. |
Good plan didn't manifest. At 8pm I drove in fog to buy bittersweet chocolate. Then I had fat free milk. I am having a difficult time. But I had only 6 Brussels sprouts for dinner. So there is a spark of good news. |
Tuesday i had around 1350 calories. Got up the courage to try on clothes that help me to know if I gained. They still fit fine. So I am not horrified. Idk how I started craving food earlier in the day. I have a genetic condition, one of the symptoms is not wanting to eat breakfast. Hummm maybe I should not have treated for it, lol. Cravings are starting earlier in the day, for the first time in my life. Ugh. |
Today's calories could have been worse. I talked myself out of chocolate. |
today i succumbed to eating more food. It seems when I begin earlier in the day. I eat more.

Today was better. I have a holiday party to go to on Sunday. So I want to lose some of the weight I have gained. These folks are used to seeing me thin. One more day for vegan puffs. They go back up in price on Wednesday. If I thought the roads were not icy tonight I would have gone out to buy an apple. If I can figure out how to drink coffee black, I can save 200 calories a day. Today is last day for vegan puffs sale. They go up to regular price tomorrow. My plan. Nix the creamer. No more snack food after today. Three meals of 300 calories. This will greatly reduce carbs as well. Can I do it? No apples? No fruit? Aka no sugar? Please, advice not needed. I have successfully cut way down on carbs many times in my life. Not easy. But very effective for weight loss. The big challenge will be no fruit. And no romaine lettuce available. |
