Kathleen, my friends from back home have been telling me that the weather has been crap. I hope you and your family is ok.

Lisa - oh we hate to hear that our friend is having daily headaches!! and the other things sound worrysome also, specialists needed. We want you 100% well I'm glad you had a good long drive with Elvira! and looking at your daughter's writing is nice Hope the journaling helps!

Coop - having the funeral over is a milestone but it sure doesn't ease the sorrow, I know. I hate to hear that you and OH have had a couple tough years...that is a long time!!!! best wishes to you and him for trying to find something bright to look forward to, together

Kathleen, Hi!!! you are always so sensitive to others and you write such great personals to us how are YOU doing??? The sale STILL hasn't happened so I'm still stuck with the RB, lol.

The fundraiser went great, we had slightly lower attendance due to weather (flooding!! because we had a day of almost 50 degrees and torrential RAIN then the temp plummeted.) but I did my part as President and emcee okay I guess. The person who won the motorcycle wasn't even there!! but we called her to notify and she was ecstatic.

Very busy at work with MLK weekend, I have to go in an hour earlier today, as I did yesterday. have a wonderful day, friends!!

Hello, Everyone!

It is snowing here on the Cape today - probably three inches or so. We had a stretch of weather like Holly's, only nowhere near as low, but below zero! Then we had a crazy Nor'easter that dumped 20 inches in my neighborhood, four inches about a mile away! AGH! After the snow we had the same warm up, with dense fog and flood warnings.

My bathrooms have been put off for a while. The contractor asked if I minded waiting as he had some emergency storm-related houses to do. I thought about it for less than a minute- I would not want to be the one who absolutely needed repairs, and then I thought about how the doors would be open with them going in and out, the dust from ripping up two 28 year old tile floors, etc. and said Go right ahead! Help those that need it!

AGH !

After writing the post above, I wrote a long one with personals, and lost it!

Another problem I am having is when I try to go from the home page to our page, I get ads for diets, belly fat remedies, etc.

I will try again another time.

Take care, my friends!

Hi ladies,

Just wanted to check in. I hope this post finds you well.

It's pretty nice out here. 43 degrees.

I go to the Dr tomorrow. My blood work came with back on Monday. I am anemic.

My chest X ray came back fine. EKG will be read tomorrow. I'm sure it's fine.

My headaches are better. I'll probably still see a chiropractor at some point.

Not much else going on.

Post when you can.

Hi Holly,

I hope you are feeling ok. Working that much can take a toll on you. You sound good though and yes, money, money. Ask hubby to massage your feets, he'll love that.

I have an iron supplement to take, 1 every morning

Since Oct, I've lost 26 lbs.

Miss you all. I hope everyone is well.

How is everyone?? I am actually feeling good...for January, and for being off my depression medication for 6 months now, I am feeling thankful for everything.

I worked 59 hours last week, the toughest stretch was 11 hours on Friday, 11 hours Saturday, and the 8 hours yesterday were the busiest in a long time. But I did it and nothing hurt!!! and the pay will be worth it

please check in to say hi

Hi Miss Holly,

I don't know how you work so much but I'm very glad you are all right physically and emotionally. I'd still make hubby rub your feet.

I'm so tired tonight. Last night I was too. Yawning by 8 pm tonight.

I've been kinda down today, everything's ok, I'm just not myself. Sometimes I'm just bored. Wish I could work but physically I'm not up to it yet.

I've started Journaling.

Jennifer called yesterday. Hank the beagle is sick. He had what the vet compared to a stroke. Hank is a senior dog so the vet said what happened to him was kinda common. He should recover quickly. He is disoriented and confused. Jennifer put him in diapers, since he can't walk. Poor Hanky.

Miss you all.

Hi Lisa! aw, poor Hank! I sure hope he recovers quickly. I'm sure he's getting lots of love from Jennifer It's so sad when our furry friends are sick or ill or injured. we love them so much

thank you for the concern about working so much, hubby does enjoy giving back rubs, which I actually prefer because I have a senstive spot on the bottom of my foot and I dont want him to accidentally put too much pressure on it

Boredom can make you feel down, that's for sure. Did you bring your scrapbooking materials in your move?

I like to journal, I love the actual action of writing on paper with a good pen, if the pen writes smooth and is not gloppy

We had some freezing rain last night but the main roads are apparently OK, just the secondary roads and unpaved roads are tricky.

ONE MORE DAY of work then I have 2 days off

hope everyone is doing OK and have a good day!!

Hi Everyone,

It is POURING here on the Cape, but it beats snow. Any day without snow is one day closer to Spring. Our Library is collecting Box Tops for Ed for the children's room , and I volunteered to count them. AGH! I did not realize I had to check every expiration date- and some are barely visible; they must be packed 50 to a zip lock mini bag; they must be trimmed. It is more work than I thought, but it is keeping me busy.

Holly, it sounds like the Rat B*stard had a Scrooge-type epiphany! Any news on the sale?

Kathleen, how is the family?

Lisa, I am sorry to hear about the dog....it is so hard when pets are sick. Congrats on the weight loss!

I am trying to lose a few before I go to Boston for my annual physical. I had my blood drawn and have already gotten the results, so I know everything tested is normal. I am 65 and on no medications, and I attribute it to exercise. Joining the Y was one of the best things I have ever done for myself.

Hello to everyone else!

Monica
