Hello friends,

Jennifer and I have been watching tv most of the day, it's been pretty quiet here. She had surgery yesterday to have some moles taken off and we are trying to figure out how to keep them dry during her showers. She has stitches.

I found a polo shirt. I had to get a man's size though. It looks pretty good on me., i'm still excited for Tuesday.

I hope you all have a great weekend.

Hello ladies!!

Lisa thank you for being so consistent here! congrats on your new job! I hope you have a super first day tomorrow. and congrats on your "A"! Hope Jennifer's stitches heal quickly. Is she home for the whole summer?

Fi I hope you are on your way to getting the excess seratonin toxins out of you! Hey wasn't that the diagnosis YOU knew was correct yet the specialists put you through all those tests.

Hi Chelainabear!! congrats on your new job too, an office setting where people WANT your help, and you hopefully won't get physically attacked ! does that start soon?

Hello to the other names who I can't recall right now and special HI to Kathleen

Alot of rain lately has kept me off my motorcycle many days but many more days I'm on her Work is good, however the front of the house woman is such a B-word!! She is a also a bully I am "lucky" that she likes me (for the moment) and is being mean to others instead of me. I just have to focus that there are poopy people in the world but I need to keep being me

Our Slovakian workers have arrived, they are nice kids ("kids", they are 22 or so) I try to learn some Slovakian and they appreciate that despite my horrible pronunciation

Lisa--Sometimes men's sizes are comfier! I feel like the sleeves are always longer and the material is sturdier in men's sizes. Good luck on that new start!

Holly--Thanks! I actually started my new job a few weeks ago. It's slowgoing right now because I don't know how to do a lot of things, and I can't use our database or meet with clients yet haha.
But I worked my official LAST shift at my old job Friday night. It felt good to really be done

In addition to working that graveyard shift Friday night-Saturday morning, I celebrated 2 birthdays that day! My nephew turned one, and one of my old coworkers had a BBQ for his. It was a long day since I was awake for like 30 hours straight with only a 2 hour nap between jobs. But Sunday I had a slower day, and went to the salon to work on removing the dark color from my hair so I can start transitioning back to my natural color

In all of that business, however, I ate a lot of unhealthy food and worked out zero times. But playing with my nephew helped me realize how badly I want to be healthy enough to play with him, which is just another motivation to keep me going.

I'm gonna keep working on my first goals, and accept the fact that one bad day doesn't mean an overall failure.

Hello ladies,

It is good to see people in here, yay!!!!!!

Well, I was supposed to start working my new job tomorrow. My new boss never called me today so I guess I am not starting my training. I was really looking forward to it too. I know I am still employed so that is good.

Holly, Jennifer will start her new job soon so yes, she will be home most of the summer. I do look for her to move out before autumn though. I honestly don't think she'll be wanting to live here long. She'll be anxious to get her own place.

Chelainabear, I picked out a good material for my new shirt. I think I'll like it. I hope the arms are too long though. When they are too long, they bother me. I am fussy about the material too, I hope it is soft enough for my liking.

Like I said above, it is great to see faces in here!!!! Fi and I were getting lonely in here. lol

Much love to all.

Hi everyone, I'm new here, great to find a forum with depression and weight loss/ gain covered. I'm Bipolar so I can go from feeling really down one day to up the next. I believe overeating is one of the ways I compensate on my down days. I started a diet yesterday, I lost 3 stone already a year ago, so time to get back to that mindset. Today feels like a good day, suns out, taken dog for a walk, just got to get on with some mindless household chores now (ah well, good workout I guess).

I hope everyone has been doing good. This month is almost over. Three more days and will need a new thread. I hope the next month, we will have more posts.

Much love to all.

Hi sammy - welcome to the thread!

I have had a fairly good week all in, but still had a few moments of feeling on the verge of tears. Today I'm off thos a gig with the OH - we booked the tickets ages ago, and it's strange to think how much has changed in our lives in all of 6 months. I was excited by the gig back then, but now the day is here I'm not so keen anymore. It's an open air gig, and it's raining, I have laryngitis so can't sing along, and generally don't feel like being at a gig with 70, 000 others. But I suppose it's about stretching our comfort zones isn't it? And I'm sure I'll enjoy it afterwards.
