Hey gang!

I just watched them pull down the statue too! I also got teary eyed but had to fight back the tears bec all the guys were in here watching history in the making.

Leenie - why you so busy girl? you must be a wife, a mother, and a working woman!!!! ;-) whats got you so busy?

Liz - I don't know how you work these crazy shifts girlie! your body must not know if it is coming or going!

It is beautiful here today! It was 40 when I got up - which is really unusual - but I'm sure not complaining. Now the sun is shining and the wind is blowing - sure is pretty!

next?

Hi Ladies!

It is a sunshine - less rainy day here in Ky and rather cold.,but the best part is I know the sun will shine again and it will be hot!

I went with my friend to the cancer Dr today. She starts chemo once again Tuesday...........then we had lunch and discussed everything.I made her promise not to go home and "kill herself" cleaning house like she did before.tried doing everything before treatment days. This time he said it would be stronger dose of one agent instead of three. The good news was.....................she will not lose her hair with this treatment..they are hoping she can tolerate 6 treatments.every 3-4 weeks!

I have to be honest.....after a morning like this..................I cant honestly complain or even think about complaining about the "small"things in Life....it always makes me appreciate all the small things and all the wonderful people (like you all are! )...........so my grandaughters are coming over and we are going to enjoy this wonderful rainy day and night!

Hope you all do too!

Hey Cin - you are totally right - watching other people deal with cancer and other illnesses makes us feel very grateful and unworthy of complaining about a thing - I know exactly what ya mean! Thanks for the reminder! I'm glad your friend has "you" to talk to. You are a good friend!

Linda Linda Linda - it is so good to see a post from you! I miss ya! hope you are doing well!

hugs to all,
Cathy

Hi everyone

I am here still....still recuperating from the time change.....or is it the Effexor.....I seem to need a nap 3 or 4 afternoons a week.....then I fall asleep in the evenings sometimes also.

I am walking 3 or 4 days a week these days....sometimes outside with DH & the dog.

Liz......I used to work all those crazy shifts....when I worked. I worked a lot of 12 hour night shifts. I worked casual on the Chridrens ward....I also worked 12 hour day shifts....Found it harder to do as I got older.....especially switching from the night shift to the day shift all in the same week.

Not much happening here today...went shopping for clothes today....it has been a long time since I bought clothes...last October.
