boy the weekend did fly fast didn't it! we had Disciple Now this weekend with the youth. We didn't have a group stay at our house, since we always have a bunch of college guys hanging around, so we just helped out. It was a good weekend but busy.
Today and tomorrow a computer whiz friend from a bank that we work with is suppose to come help me transfer everything from my old computer to the new one, so I'll see you guys in a few days.
I feel pretty sturdy today. I've got nice food planned. It's waaay nice for walking.
As long as I can keep not thinking about going back to the dentist tomorrow.
Well I lost another 1.5 pounds last week. I guess I am doing something right. My in-laws are coming in this weekend along with my DH's granddad. He is a meat and potatoes man and that is all. So cooking for him is rather complicated. I do not cook beef very often and have a hard time coming up with a menu. Also I don't know how well my diet will go with him here, but we will work with it.
My weekend was also busy. We had some friends over Saturday night and I drank way too much. I don't do that very often at all. I don't even drink very often, so I was not feeling great the next morning and really wishing I had not drank so much. Oh well I guess I have to move on. My friend has lost a lot of weight and she is looking very good. She was by no means as heavy as I am, but she looks great. That made me all the more motivated although I am pretty motivated already. It was fun and we had a pleasant time.

Just wanted to let you girls know we had to have my kitty put to sleep this morning, he had kidney failure and no he didn't eat any of that food, we had already checked.

Trish congrats on the WL WHOOT !!!! will your inlaws eat a turkey or chicken, that might be an easy option to cook and friendly for you too. You can make sides or get them from the grocery store already made?? good luck !!!! I hate cooking for others too.

MIL called about FIL's appt to the Kidney Specialist, he is in Renal Failure, the very beginning stages. For now he is on a low-protien diet and will be watched closely, but eventually he will have to be put on dialysis and eventually well we will lose him too.
What really saddens me is that I cannot give him grandchildren to enjoy before he is too ill or passes on. I know we still have time and you never know, miracles I guess could happen.
I have a huge meeting to attend today, 11 am - 3 pm zzzzzzzz
My sister took Mom to the hospital this morning, she is having wicked stomach pain so here I sit tap tap tap. I'm sure she'll be okay but it sucks ya know.
Sassy, I'm sorry to hear about FIL, that is rough Don't you go beating yourself up girlie, things happen for a reason okay. And yes, Miracles do happen and just to let you know, I'll be praying for you and your FIL. again.
Susan, I have a cleaning tomorrow at the dentist, and she's gonna reem me out because I was supposed to have 2 fillings replaces about 6 months ago... ya know, IMHO they are fine (they work on commission just so you know) I don't need them replaced at this point so I'm just gonna tell her that... hope she doesn't hurt me LOLOL

Well not much new around here. It feels awfully cold in here (-2C outside) I have to vacuum and scrub that tub yet so that will warm me up. The darn stomache flu is still around our house. I got to clean the girls bedroom carpet on Monday as C didn't quite make it to the bathroom, the poor thing. I can't wait for the warmer dryer weather to get here so that I can open everything up and give this place a good airing!
I just feel blah. I just wanna do nothing and I haven't the whole three days I've been off. Oh I did laundry and scrubbed the toilet. Whoopee. lol. DH has been so great. He made dinner and did dishes and even cleaned up the kitchen! I feel so guilty because I haven't done much of anything lately.
I guess I'm lucky I have a job, otherwise I'd probably never leave the house and most days I don't even feel like going there, but I do cuz well no workie, no money. lol. We did go to Wal-mart and got some stuff we needed, but that was about it.
Well that is about all for me. Its back to the ole grind tonight (Thursday night) Yippee. I guess work will be good for me, get out of the apt. and talk to other people besides my cat that is clinging to me now that the other has passed and my DH. lol.
Well thank goodness its Friday!! B and C have a two week spring break starting Monday, so yippee!! no alarms for two full weeks
Its snowing again, yuck! I'm getting a little tired of it! I have to run to town as its B's 17th birthday tomorrow and I still have to pick up her gift. It will be busy tomorrow as C has a little judo tournament with her club in the morning. And my mom was thinking of coming out for B's birthday. One thing I'm looking foreward to is there is suppose to be a fabric sale at the mall tomorrow, so while waiting for C to compete I can see if I can find the right fabric for the power puff girls. Its hard trying to find the right colours and the right fabric weights, who knew???
Oh and the big excitment for today...I found our kitchen table!!! I knew it was under all those papers, but today I actually found it. I even put a table cloth on it and it just has a bowl of oranges on it!! I'm going to enjoy it while its here, before it goes MIA on another mission
Anyway I'm procrastinating so I better get off and get out before I run out of time!

Well I definately feel better today! I'm not sure if it was just something I ate or just stress yesterday! But I'm glad I feel better. You know the more and more I think about it, I bet that my feeling bad here lately is probably stress related. Think I need a nice relaxing getaway or something.
Today I had my Subway Club. Did ya know they have mini subs now? I didn't know that! I got a regular 6", but saw the sign, also you can get double meat now for 99c but I didn't get that, just got the regular.
It was a lovely day today, well what I saw of it coming into work! lol. Just gorgeous. I hope we have at least one nice day on our days off (M-W) I would like to get out since last week we didn't go out a lot.

Sassy, I'm glad your feeling better Did you ever try Subway's veggie burger sandwich? I went there the other day w/my friend and thought OMG what am I gonna get.. .. I spied the veggie one and got it... I was very surprised it tasted that good. I'd order it again thats for sure. I got onions, pickles, lettuce and tomato on it with mayo on the side (if you don't side the dressing, they will flood it).
Okay wild week for me. Mom wound up having emergency hernia surgery on wednesday night, thursday she was puking so bad that they rushed her into xray only to find nothing and realizing that she had an alergic reaction to the meds they give you to stop puking. Imagine being alergic to the meds they give you to help you stop puking and it making you puke even worse. Anyway, she came home yesterday and she is already fighting w/my sister b/c she was doing laundry ????? OY !!!!!!!!!
Anyway, today I have a ton of cleaning b/c next week is Easter and if I don't start NOW I'll never have the house ready in time for my family. I know, I'm sure they won't care if the house is clean but you know... I do it for me cause I care LOL. Easter is my favorite holiday
