To answer your post from earlier Leenie no Granddad does not like chicken, turkey, pork or fish. Just Beef! To top that off he is old enough (94) that he can't chew very well. I have worked with it and made healthy sides and given myself a small amount of meat. But oh so frustrating. We are having pot roast tonight. I even have to find beef that is easy to chew.

Even with all of this hard stuff I still managed to loose 1.6 lbs this week. Yay!!!!! Well have to jet don't want company waiting too long. I hope everyone else is doing well. Talk to you later.

Trish, cooking pot roast in a crock pot will make it very very tender. I don't know if you have time for that now but keep it in mind in the future. Even if you have a tough piece of meat it will come out tender cooked long enuf in the crock pot. Good luck and OY !!!!!!

I have lost 6pounds in 2.5 weeks ,I think we can do this you can lose weight on medication,I was begining to doubt that it was possible.Maybe this is just a temporary thing I will have to wait until next weeks weigh in to be sure.
