Yay for everyone feeling better hope it carries on for you all

I have 1 practical exam this thursday (ARGH!) which i really don't know enough for, seeing as we have to know every bone, all the points on that bone, every joint, the type of joint, the joint line, every muscle and where it attaches and what it does, plus how to analyse movement and how to assess a patient. At least it's only on the arms and legs at the moment.

My other exams (3 more practicals and two written) are quite a while away when you think of it (about 5 weeks), but they're all grouped together so it's going to be hard to get all the revision done in time...

Thanks for the support it's really nice of you, only wish i'd had the same sort of support and encouragement when i fell to pieces doing my a-levels and dropped 2 grades

Take care all
Hannah

Well since getting back on track last week, I have lost 2.2 lbs. Yeah!!! I did a good job working out and eating right all week. I have had a bit of trouble getting all of my calories in. I am getting better as the week goes on. Anyway, I am happy about that. I also feel much better. Well have a great day all of you and I will chat later.

Default The best book that helped me with depression

Try to find "Feeling Good" by Dr. David D. Burns - Amazon carries it along with his others.

It's the only book I've read on depression that actually gives you practical advice beyond a description of symptoms and what drugs are available.

It has exercises that combat many of the bad thought cycles and the Would'a, Should'a, Could'a 's.

It helps build back your self esteem which can help with your weight loss program.

Since reading the book 12 years ago, I've had additional depressive episodes. But they haven't been as severe. They are mostly physical - like living in molasis where everything gets slowed down.

Thanks folks. I don't really feel a whole lot better but I do have a busy plan for today ... and the little white pills I need to actually sleep the night before and make myself get there.

I don't think it's been 8 years ... 4 or 5 maybe. It's sooo stupid to wait that long. It really was easier when I made an appt to go back before I left the building. After my last appointment, my DH changed jobs (no coverage) within six weeks they had sent the last part of our bill to collections! And they'd already been paid for over 80%. I was mortified!
Dentistry seems to be a bad one ... it hurts, it's humiliating, it'll send you to the poor house ... I can think of a million reasons not to go ...
