Phew, hang in there everyone! I did decently eating today, and really enjoyed my workout. In even better news, when I thought I was up one pound, I was actually reading the scale incorrectly! I didn't have my contacts in and thought the half way marker was actually the line that designated 10 pounds. I'm actually at 165, which is a loss of 4 pounds from when I last weighed myself. That was a bit ago, but I'm happy YAY!!

Well hello everyone .. Iam also new here but have posted on another site ... I really want to take the chal..for valintines with everyone .I think we only have 7 weeks from today?? anyway I will try for 10 pounds by then If I get more BONUS!!! great site I love it ... just a thought about not feeling so wonderful when you lose some weigh..perhaps that within ourselves we feel that weightloss will cure everything .... its just the start to making things right ... the rest will come when we really believe we are beautiful inside and out .....
today Christmas Day everyone wants to know why iam on "DIET" when its the holidays ... I surprised myself by telling them ,that My Christmas Present to myself, is to not diet again ..but to make my way of eating a way of life and I have more energy and and feel much better ,just knowing that I have taken the steps to be true to myself.. 10 pounds of my body .. But 100 pounds off my shoulders worrying about my weight ...... have a great holiday everyone ...... annie

Hehe, Annie you are too funny. I weigh in the mornings. I tend to weigh everyday, but only because scale fluctuations don't really both me. For example, i am up two pounds from yesterday, but it is also my TOM. In short, what I'm trying to say, is weigh whenever you want to and report back however often you would like. We don't have a set anything, just the end date.

Great thanks for info... and by the way .. they always did say that fat people are funny hahaha wonder where the humor goes when we get thin? I could never weigh myself everyday .. You are one brave soul.. I could never afford the scales that I would have to smash, when they talk dirty to me.. think thin people!!!!

My scale was up today as well, I am retaining water, rings are tight. Gonna stop the diet soda, return to water today and see if that helps any. I threw out my most favorite ratty pants and t-shirt yesterday. As roomy as it is, there is no way I look good in it, and it is way too comfy to keep me modivated!

Yeah, the clothes are so key! I finally realized I needed to lose weight when i could no longer button my gorgeous winter white long wool coat I had purchased. I miss that coat almost as much as I miss having a discernible waist.

Default ready for the challenge!

I'm a little late to join but won't officially begin tallying pounds until after the weekend when I have returned home from the holidays. Right now I'm just trying not to overdo anything.
Last year I joined a Valentine's challenge which coordinated well with my birthday being a week before the holiday. I lost 15 pounds and have been able to keep it off for the whole year. Now I think I would like to see if I can lose another 10-15, again because my birthday is approaching, but also because I'm taking a trip to the Caribbean in March. I found the supportive nature of this forum to be the real moral support I needed.

I look forward to joining all of you in this challenge beginning next week.

Happy New Year!
