Hey GURLS!

Today is going good! Yesterday I did not eat good at all....It was my cheat day! I like to trick my body so it won't go into starvation mode! Add some extra calories for the day!

Today I go back to work @ curves; I will be definately getting in a workout its been over 2 weeks since I workout at curves...maybe I will jog there today! Sounds good! It should take me about 10-15 mins if I jog straight there...too bad its raining!

I also have been working hard cleaning....I'm trying to declutter my house before I go back to school and the kids go back to school & daycare!

I can't believe I only have one more year left...4 yrs down...1 left! Then I will get my Bachelor of Nursing....(5 yrs bc I took nursing prep)

SmolderingViken~ Hallarious...an ad space on the dentures...worth a try! Never know what could happen! Congrats on your NSV!!!!

This chatty person started school/work. I did terrible the first day of school but yesterday I did awesome. I was running late and didn't have time to fix even toast for breakfast. I grabbed sugar snap peas out of my fridge and ate them on the way. Not my traditional breakfast but I was proud of the moment.

Then for lunch the crew went out to eat again (traditional for the first 2 days). This time they had a nutrition menu at the place we went and I stayed low cal the whole way even added a small fruit cup to my plate. Then for supper I stuck to tuna and wheat crackers because my kids and hubby went to a movie. Then he brought taco bell. HAHAHAA..I had enough cals left for the day that I went ahead and ate the bean burrito (he's learning..thats one of the lower things on taco bell menus and he only brought one). My diet needed more variety yesterday but I did pretty good.

Now it is 5am and I have insommia (I've been awake for an hour). Bipolars are good for sleep disturbances. That actually affects what your numbers are on the scale. It's interesting. Sleep is such a restorative thing and it is hard sometimes when I don't get it. I'm not surprised though. During the school year I take a sleeping med (it's an old antidepressant) every night because sleeping is that important. When my moods are disturbed, it doesn't always work or work for long enough. I was manic all last week. The good thing is I am TREMENDOUSLY productive during that mood phase so its not all bad. Okay, that's probably more than you EVER wanted to know about me.

I also want to fit into rides at fairs with my children without being totally squished. I did this when I was a kid, but not since ive been this big.

I also wanna get a boob job when I reach my goal weight! Ive never had boobies lol

Monday I started phase 2 (I'm doing South Beach), and I cheated two days in a row.... I ate watermelon, and the result is that I haven't shed one pound!
But today I've been good, and I hope by the end of the week to drop the 1-2lbs I'm supposed to in this phase.

Two things I would like to do:
- white water rafting
- finding pleasure in trying out and buying clothes - now I only buy clothes because I need to, and I get depressed watching myself in that big mirror...

Hi gals-just checking in. Its nice to see some activity today. I'll be thinking about my answers to the challenge question.

Ivy-Hope phase 2 is going better now. Your white water rafting goal is one of my favorite activities. I've been lucky to turn it into a yearly trip since I chaperone our church youth group when they go. Its a great thing I hope you get to do.

Purplecrush-Congrats on the 2 lbs!!!

Scooter-6.5 lbs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You are fabulous!!!!!

Shari-Way to go!!!!

JennyDee-Cool idea for the get to know ya questions. My 3rd 5K will be on Labor Day. I'm not fast, but its cool to know that I can do it now considering last year on labor day I walked the 5K (I'm not counting that as one of the 3 I've run) cuz there was no way I could run my fat butt that far. Hope you try one for yourself soon.

Well, I leave for camping tomorrow so I gotta run and get packed. If I think of 2 goals tonight I'll try to get on the computer to post them before I leave.

Congrats on your loss purplecrush

And you too Scooter 6.5lbs is awesome!!!

Things I want to do. Hmm how long can this thread be?

1) Go shopping in a regular department store instead of the plus size stores!!

2) Fit into an airplane seat with out feeling like I need a can opener to get me out of it!

3) Go scuba diving.

4) Run a mile with out feeling like I am going to have a heart attack!!

5) Have sex with my hubby without feeling like I need all the lights off and a long shirt to keep my tummy covered.

6) Strut my stuff in place where I felt like I was unwelcome because of my weight! ( okay, okay I know I may need a little therapy. )

I could go on and on... lol...
