KStrong: I count yard work as strength-training when it involves lots of lunges and squats. I try to do them instead of bending over. It's better for my back and I get to count it as strength-training, so two motivators.

I missed a couple days and then didn't get back on here :( and only started recording my workouts again this past week, so I don't remember adequately to fill in my month here. I am still trying my best!! :strong: a non-scale victory due to exercise - had a physical last month. My cholesterol is "perfect" (doctor's words!) and my sugar/glucose/whatever is normal. Doctor told me to 'maintain a healthy weight' so I wasn't lectured to lose...though I am *hovering* at the mark between normal bmi/weight and overweight. Like a 5 lb difference. And I had a mammogram on Wednesday and I was not sore the next day from my poor body parts being stretched, pulled and mashed :eek: |

Yesterday, I got myself into Crow Pose for about half a second. Now, I'm obsessed. I used to do that when I was a kid. Of course, I didn't know it was Crow Pose. It was just a fun thing that I liked to do with my body. It would be so cool to be able to do at age 58 something I could do at age 8.
