Let's jump into June!

State your exercise goal and track it throughout the month with this supportive group of fellow exercisers. We'll compile our workout goals into a list. As each goal is met during the month, it gets turned RED in celebration.

I was pretty happy with how exercise went in May, so I'm going to set the same goal for June.

June goal: 1400 minutes, including 25x stretching and 10x strength-training

I am back into a routine of daily walking and hope to keep it up.
My June goal will be 800 minutes of intentional exercise.

June2: I did almost two hours of heavy yardwork (picking up sticks, weeding, and pruning). I think that based on how dripping sweaty I was, that can translate into almost one hour of exercise. :) So 50 minutes today
June5: 60 min water walking in pool
June6: 80 min water walking
June7: 75 min water walking AM
June7: 60 min water walking PM
June8: 40 min water walking AM
June9: 55 min water walking AM

Hey, ya'll!!!! I'm so excited to be back here and to see some familiar names. I feel like I have been gone for so long and so much has changed, but one thing still remains. I have got to lose weight! I missed these challenges and accountability; so, I would love to jump back in with you all.

This month I am striving to set and keep realistic goals. I am shooting for 500 minutes of physical activity this month which is a little more than 30 minutes 4 times a week. I also want to get more regular with my yoga. I am shooting for 6 sessions this month, which is about twice a week for the remainder of the month.

June 3rd - 60 min swim

So, this is my first time joining an exercise challenge. I've been exercising a couple months now, but today it hit I DID NOT WANT TO! I had no motivation whatsoever. But, I'm starting to learn no one is motivated 100% of the time, if we go off motivation we will always fail. It's discipline. And, today I did it even though I did not want to for the first time in my life. And, I'm glad I did!

June 03 - Pahla B. Knee Friendly Metabolic Conditioning, 25 min.; +easy bending yard work 60 min.
June 04 - Pahla B. "Fun" cardio and bodyweight strength, 30 min.; +weedwhacking, 30 min.
June 05 - Pahla B. Standing Cardio/Abs HIIT 33 min.; + mowed lawn, weedwhacked, 1 1/2 hours.
June 06 - Pahla B. Cardio/Arm Toning, 30 min.
June 07 - Pahla B. Cardio/Toning, 40 min. +mowing, brush clearing and weedwhacking, 2 hrs.

Good Afternoon!! Exercise update!! I haven’t been as active here lately. My change in diet (more fruits and veggies) is causing me some tummy problems. I’ve been so bloated and conatipated that I don’t want to move. Hopefully all the water I’m drinking will help with that. I still have to get on my yoga:
