1: 269.5 New decade! I'm ill today though so I don't know what'll happen tomorrow.
2: 268.5 Sooo, this is good but is it because I was ill and ate very little or because I'm following the same pattern as last month?
3: 269 I think this is probably sodium too because I had sausages. I was very good at the fair: tiny tastes of chocolate, cake, and olives.
4: 270 Not enjoying the bouncing around. I'm not exercising because of my injured foot so that's not helping.
5: 270.5 Going the wrong way but food-wise there's no reason for it, just my lack of exercise because of my foot, which is swollen and I can hardly stand on it.
6: 269.5 Keeping my calories low because I'm mostly sitting on the sofa with my foot elevated. Seeing my doctor today so hopefully I can get some advice.
7: 268 I was up peeing all night which must have been water after a few sodium-heavy meals. Yesterday I ended up having an x-ray on my foot for a suspected stress fracture. Thankfully there's no fracture but I won't know if there's anything else, such as arthritis, until the GP gets the full report.

gardenerjoy: Glad to see it was mostly water weight and you are moving back the right direction again.

flower1: You go girl! Seriously an inspiration. I'll never get into the 120s (at my height, I wouldn't want to, really), but I hope when I get close to goal weight, I can still lose it like you are.

Newlyn: The bouncing can be frustrating, but I love looking back at the history. You were between 270 and 269 just a week ago, now you're between 268 and 268.5. The trend is moving the right direction, which is all that really matters in the end.

You're right about the history Lacerta. It's annoying to hang around one number but at least it's losses that are sticking around for a while, not gains.

Hello! I am hoping it's okay to join halfway! Looking for accountability and challenge myself to keep on track!
I am hoping to lose 5lbs by end of month . I expect to lose a lot of water weight since I have been eating way off.

Newlyn: With a foot injury, a maintenance week isn't really a big concern. Have you found anything out about what is going on with it?

Back up a little bit today, which isn't really unexpected. I had a pretty good last few days, so a small rebound was bound to happen soon. Just glad I stayed in the 213s. Hopefully it is just a short rebound and I can head back down again tomorrow, but we'll see.

I know you're right Lacerta. I've been resting my foot as much as possible for at least 10 days and hardly exercising so it's to be expected. There was no stress fracture so it was decided that it was a tendon problem, which just takes time to heal.

Newlyn: I agree. Ooooh! Yay, a new low for you. As long as you keep seeing new lows on occasion, that reminds you the scale is moving the right direction. I've had several times I didn't see a new low for 2 or even 3 weeks, but then followed it up with a really good week (my plateau was more like 6 weeks, but it ended with one of my best weeks ever). hoping that really good week is just about to happen to you.

Hey! Another new low for me too. I'll take it. I'd love to end this week (Sunday is my official weekly weigh in) in the 212s. So now I just need to hang onto it for the next 2 days. 0.4 more will also let me change my avatar again, so that will be happening soon as well.

I've definitely seen slower progress after my plateau, but I'm glad to see it is steady progress, still. I've gone from averaging about 8 pounds a month to more like 5 pounds per month. I did anticipate that, but I had hoped it would hold off until I got to Onederland. Guess not. But 5 pounds a month is still a good, healthy pace and I'll take it.
