Welcome back, momtopands!

Sorry about the knee, ange. I hope the pain dissipates.

...........................

Hoo boy, I'm so sleepy. I did a full body workout with weights. The combo of the long workout and shower did me in--I'm so relaxed I might conk out. I've been avoiding the sun on doctor's orders. I think living like a vampire is also screwing with my circadian rhythm.

The workout was tough! It reminded me how weak I am in every part of my body other than my legs. It wasn't as hard as back when I first bought it years ago though, so that does tell me that all the exercise over the years left a lasting improvement.

That workout was about 50 minutes. I also did a 10 minute workout that's my favorite. It's a mixture of body weight exercises and cardio. I've made a rule with myself though that I'll only count that one as a workout when I do it twice in one day since it's so short. So I'm only counting the longer one for today, and the short one was just for the fun of it.

Goal 19 DVD workouts

= Completed

Not much on the exercise front. I had a long day at work which is 80km away through the other side of the city (=traffic), so hubby walked dog. I was stood up doing stuff in the lab most of the day at work, but in-amongst that was a lot of sitting down I have to admit.

Went out with the local walking club last night, but opted to turn around after 30min as that's about the max my knee's up for at the moment. Great to be out again, but definitely not strong enough to do the full walk yet. Think that's going to have to count as my second cardio session of the week, since the knee feels like it would be better rested than pushed for another session right now. This leaves me with two more days to do a core session. Other targets met for Week 1
