I didn't get in any formal exercise sessions yesterday, but I did get in close to 6,000 steps while at work--in heels, no less!

My feet were killing me by the end of the night. I don't usually wear heels to work and won't be today, thank goodness. We had some bigwigs visiting so were asked to dress up. It wasn't as high as the 10,000+ that had become my norm earlier this month, but it was far more than I'd been getting on those goose egg days. It felt nice moving again!
My work schedule is really wonky this week, with shifting hours. I don't anticipate having the time or energy (due to the disrupted sleep schedule) to get in any exercise before the end of this month, since I'm not off again until July 1st. So I didn't come close to making my goal this month, which I think is a first for me in the exercise challenge. I should've taken into account the days I'd need off for health reasons, but I didn't know yet how that skin thing would impact me back when I picked my goal.
I'm really pleased though with how much walking I got in earlier this month. I loved the boost to my energy levels and it dropped me to a new low on the scale. (Well, still 20 above my usual weight, but you know what I mean.) I have to avoid the sun for the next couple of months, so my outdoor walks are a no-go in the July challenge. Maybe I'll walk at night...
