    Welcome to our new 2% weight loss challenge! Post your weight at the start of the challenge or on joining the thread and your 2% goal. To find 2% of your weight multiply your weight by 0.02. Round up to whatever units your scale measures ie 0.2, 0.5 or 1.

    First one to lose 2% is the winner and starts the new thread.

  • Jan 31st: 126.7 lbs
    Goal -2.5 lbs, so 124.2 lbs

    I am trying to go down a pound a month, so if this happens in two months, I'm fine with it. I did a bodybuilding bulk at 1lb/month and am trying to cut without losing muscle.
    Calories- 1340 (ugh). I haven't been doing this every day, but that's the goal. I have been between 1300-1600, about split.

    my 2% put me at -3.5 a GW of 170.3 but I added on an additional 3 lbs, because I know that I am carrying 3 lbs. of water weight right now.

    Yesterday I drank over 200oz of water, I ate on plan but higher in calories 1750 and did the treadmill for an hour. I am feeling pretty good about that but would like to reduce my calories by a couple hundred.

  • kfunk: Hope you're doing well. I noticed that your 2% goal weight is a loss of 6 lbs. I didn't do the math but that seems like a lot more than 2%

    I added in a couple pounds to my goal because I had gone up at the end of the last one from eating too much crap!

    I don't know what my problem is on the weekends, its like a switch flips and I turn into a garbage disposal.....
  • kfunk - Thanks. I hear what you're saying about weekends and they can be tough. I used to go off plan on the weekends too. Now I have one day on the weekend that I allow myself more freedom with my eating. Today I'm going out for brunch and will not be as strict with what I eat.
