I weighed in at 200 LBS on Friday and Saturday. I don't usually weigh in on Sunday's. So I hope to reach Onderland this week. How is Everyone doing? I still hope to reach my new GW for the Year of 169. Good Luck, Everyone!

I finally got the scale moving again, and would say I'm officially past my plateau. But it did set me back on my goals. I now have to lose another 17.8 pounds in just under 11 weeks to make Onederland by New Years. Not impossible, but more difficult over the holiday season. But all I can do is stick with it and keep doing what I'm doing. It is working, and working at a decent pace. If I hadn't plateaued for 6 weeks, I would have made it easily. As it is, I will be close. I'm guessing I'm going to JUST miss it, and finish the year somewhere between 201-205, which is just over halfway to my goal. I can live with that. It was an arbitrary goal chosen months ago, anyway.

I'm not going to reach My original goal weight of 142 LBS. I had changed it to 169 LBS, but won't be able to reach that either. Well I think I could reach 182 LBS and have only 40 more LBS to go. Good Luck, Everyone!

I'm not going to quite make my goal either. Close, but not quite. But we both made good progress this year, in the right direction, and that is what is really important. The goal is really just daydreaming and giving us something to work toward. As long as we move the right direction, even if it is only by a few pounds, that is still always better than going the other direction.

Just 5 weeks from today is New Year's Eve. Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving and good luck to all surviving the rest of the holidays.

Personally, my weight loss has definitely slowed down since my plateau. I'm still losing pretty regularly, but it has slowed down a lot. I went from averaging about 8 pounds a month to now only about 4-5. Still good, steady loss and I'll definitely take it, but it is definitely slower. I'm going to make an extra effort for these last 5 weeks to make sure I'm eating consciously, not mindlessly, and make good choices. And with the poor weather heading in (looks like starting this weekend), I'll make sure to walk on my treadmill if I can't walk outside, but continue to walk outside whenever possible.

I'm not going to make my goal weight either. But I was reading back through some old threads and I saw someone say that they made the "spirit of the goal". That's how I feel. I won't actually reach the goal, but I kept with it the whole time and consistently did lose. Not making the actual number by the specific date is not really that important. Sticking with it, IS that important, and I did that, and I'm proud of what I did so far this year. I think I'll end up in the mid single digits, between 203 and 206, which means I'll likely hit Onederland in January. I can live with that.

Well, I didn't make my goal, but I did end the old year on another new low at 205.2, for a total of 62.2 pounds lost since I started on March 18th. That put me just over 1.5 pounds per week average.

to Everyone who lost weight this Year! I didn't reach my Goal Weight either Lacerta. I only lost 20.2 LBS for the Year. But better a loss or to maintain than a gain. Good Luck, Everyone! I will be starting the Challenge for 2019 soon.

Well, I landed nowhere near my goal of 135 lbs. I struggled a lot with regains a few times throughout 2018, but I will try to focus on the 28 lbs still lost through it all and hope that 2019 is a more stable year. Fingers crossed!
