So I'm not sure if I'm super dehydrated or if the scale has gone bonkers but I stepped on the scale and it read 135! I'll take it! :D

Thank you for the positive words Kfunk :). I'm positive I will see it go back up, especially after this weekend due to all the planned birthday activities I have. However, as long as it remains a total loss, I'll be very happy :)

chub I also have a bday party to go to this afternoon. I will have no way of calculating calories, but I will just do my best and hope that I don't see a big increase tomorrow!

Kfunk: birthdays only happen once a year so I fully intend to enjoy it :D. I'll work extra hard next week to counter balance the calories :D
I'm at 135.8 this morning. That's 1 lb up but I'll take it because I had a great day yesterday with delicious food :)

kfunk: I hope IF works out wonderfully for you! It has helped me, as well as my relationship with food, in a tremendous way. And, thank you!! We enjoyed both quite a bit. I even had a cherry icee at the movies, so it really brought the whole childhood nostalgia thing with the 80s from the movie full circle for me...lol. I hope you have fun at the birthday party today!


Chub: That is awesome! 135 is my ultimate "dream" goal weight, so that is amazing in my eyes...hahah. Congrats! The bump back up was pretty tiny for birthday celebrations, so that is still awesome. Great work balancing your hard work with a little indulgence to celebrate...that is the key to staying with it long-term, I think. :yes:

I am back! Weigh-in was 226.2 today, so - even though it wasn't much of a loss for two days - I am happy to report there was no gain after two days of eating out for one of the meals and birthday cake last night. I chose the healthiest versions of things that I could and I balanced out the remainder of my meals to help keep my calories in a safe range. I did absolutely abysmal on the water though, so - again - I'm hoping it's not just a touch of dehydration showing me lower. I've barely consumed any water since my last post, so catching up on that today.

chub was it your birthday? If so, Happy Birthday!!! I am glad that you enjoyed yourself!! I went to the party and did pretty well.. I am up today, but I think that it is probably just an early Monday morning weigh in thing, or bloat!

ophelia I am glad that you enjoyed yourself!! That is really exciting that you saw your numbers decrease and were able to enjoy yourself over the weekend!!! I really like IF, and I like it so much I am starting to do it on the weekdays too. Its kind of hard making it to 10am to eat, but I drink coffee to tide me over. Over the weekend I did great with water in the mornings, but totally slacked for the rest of the day. Its easier for me to get more in when I am working, so that is my goal today! I do feel really bloated lately and I am sure that has something to do with my upcoming TOM.

TaMry Welcome!! Do you have any idea of what you are going to be doing to help lose weight? I have tried several approaches so far, but calorie counting seems to be the best fit for me. I do slack off when it comes to working out though and need to get that addressed!!

kfunk: The scale was playing with me today, but hoping that it's just my body holding onto the water for dear life after two days of majorly slacking on it...lol. Going to keep drinking lots of water today to reassure it that I won't be trying to dry it out again anytime soon. :lol:


EagleRiverDee: I jumped back up today, too....must be something in the air, lol. But, yay for touching on goal, even if only for a day! I bet you will get back to it in no time. :yes:

Bodies are weird. My weigh-in was back up to 227.4 today after being totally on-plan, including drinking enough water, yesterday. So, I'm thinking that I must have been dehydrated from the prior two days of barely any water/eating out like I thought I might have been...and, now I caught back up and rehydrated the body and so I'm heavier? I don't know, lol. We'll see what happens tomorrow for the end of the week weigh-in! Hoping that it drops again to show at least some kind of loss for the week. If not, I'm sure it will average back out over next week, but still. :dizzy:

Just a quick check-in, will catch up with any personals tomorrow. Weigh-in was only down a smidge to 227.2 today, so I'm a little bummed I'm ending the week with only a 0.8 lb loss. However, I'm hoping that - when I drop back down from this ill-timed bump up - it will all average out next week with a higher overall loss than usual. We will see. Hope everyone is having a great day! I'm about to head to the dentist for an emergency appointment I set up for today, because I ended up breaking a tooth on the side...keeping my fingers crossed that they'll be able to fix it instead of having to lose it, since it cracked off all the way to the gum. Wish me luck! :crossed:
