Join the February Weight Loss Challenge to set your goal, track it, and meet it -- with the help of a supportive and encouraging group. All the goals will be compiled into a list. As each goal is met during the month, it gets turned RED in celebration.
Hello February and to everyone who is doing this again! I lost 22.6 lbs last month, but I know that was just the first big whoosh of initial weight loss, so I am keeping my monthly loss goal of 10 lbs. I think that is keeping a more realistic expectation on things, especially with the initial water weight being gone already and this being a shorter month. Good luck, everyone!

Good luck everyone! Here is to a supportive and successful February!
Ophelia Your January numbers are amazing, well done!
I started back my journey on 14th Jan and managed to lose 7.8lb and get back in the single digits of 200s range. This month, I would love to see onederland. I am going to work hard when I can and try to consolidate this 'new' eating regime as normal. I do have a weekend where 5 friends are visiting mid month and then an international trip at the end of the month which are bound to get in the way. But, I am sure that I can still record big losses if I am clean and thoughtful for the rest of the month. Bring it on!

Can I join in please? I need to weight in daily to not lose the focus. As for today I am 108.7 kg and I want to lose to 105 kgs in February (239.6 to 231.5 lb).
Hello gardenerjoy,
Thanks for putting this together. I would like to join the challenge.
I decided that I am not going to have my weight as a measure of progress because it's not changing much, since I am working out and gaining muscle.
My goal is to hit 20.5% body fat this month. I just measured today, and I am at 21.0%.
Just a small goal because I am not in a hurry and am trying to change my habits in the process, cutting out sugars and flours, and for me changing my habits is the most important thing.
Hi everyone! I'm in for February! My goal is to reach 145 this month, which will place me at a healthy BMI.

Mini Goal - 141 by Mar 31st

Weigh-in was 271.8 this morning, after weighing in almost an hour late...which means I'm probably still stuck on my 272 plateau, technically speaking. Not sure what's up...I've been trying to be more active, drinking lots of water, not near TOM, and I haven't gone crazy on sodium, either. I think my body likes this weight for some reason, so it's going to have to snap out of that real quick...lol. I'm not getting discouraged, because I know it will pass, but it is frustrating.

Hope you all had a great start to the new month. Last month I hit goal with an 8.3 loss. For the spring challenge I have a goal of 20lbs. by March 20th (started the challenge Jan. , 11 weeks total). So far so good although next Monday is my 3 month mark on my journey and things will start to slow down for me. It might be tight but after much consideration I decided on a
6.7 loss for this month (184.3 as of today so goal is to get to 177.6). From there, the goal would be 5 lbs. by spring but now that I have that on the backburner, time to focus on TODAY and day by day tackling this month.
I wish you all success and health and look forward to this new month with you all.

I stole this chart from opheliaphoenix...thank you! I didn't make my goal last month, but I did lose and that is a move in the right direction.
Wow, such much positive energy on this thread! Ophelia - your loss was AMAZING! LovelyLeah - you were on the threads before when you got engaged...love the wedding picture! Weekend Boater - I hope to be following you in numbers on down the scale! You are doing great! I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for all of you trying to make it to onederland! ...I'm running out of time for personals, but sending all of you positive vibes!
I did my Turbo Jam tonight. I made it through 30 of the 45 minutes...then had to stop. What doesn't kill us only makes us stronger, right? UGH!
