Ooo, a perfect thread for me. This year's goal was "50 in 52," which works nicely since I'd lost just enough weight the previous fall to put me in at my goal by January 1, 2018. With a one or two pound weight gain at the holidays, I'm going from 167 (175 original SW) to 115 to make a "52 in 52" instead. So far I'm on track:
January 1/2. 167 1/9. (1/08 actually, 166.5) 1/16. 164.4 1/23. 162.8 1/30. (2/1 actually, 162.6) February 2/6. 162.6, my first frustrating plateau of the year--totally my fault, not making helpful choices ;) 2/13. 161.6 ah, that's better 2/20. 160.0--met goal 2/27. 159.0 March 3/6. 156.6 making some tweaks that are working well, so I'm a week and a half ahead, and a big mini goal reached: no longer obese BMI! 3/13. (3/11 actually) 155.6 3/20. (3/19 actually) 155.8 3/27. 154.8--met goal! After another plateau, that's very exciting. :) April 4/3. 154.0 4/10. 152.8 4/17. 151.6 4/24. NWI (vacation) May 5/1. 153 (!!vacation did a number on my plans, that's for sure) 5/8. 5/9 actually, 150.0 (a pound behind goal, but hopefully I can catch up) 5/15. 5/16 actually, 149.2 5/22. ? 5/29. 5/27, 148.6 June 6/5. goal: 145 6/12. 6/19. 6/26. July 7/3. 7/10. goal: 140 7/17. 7/24. 7/31. August 8/7. 8/14. goal: 135 8/21. 8/28. September 9/4. (big mini-goal--reaching a normal BMI for my height at 132) 9/11. 9/18. goal: 130 9/25. October 10/2. 10/9. 10/16. 10/23. goal: 125 10/30 November 11/6. 11/13. 11/20. 11/27. goal: 120 December 12/4. 12/11. 12/18. 12/25. 1/1/18. GOAL: 115! I can't lie, it scares the crap out of me to post this. Makes failing feel like more of a possibility I guess. But hey, I'm still on track in March, so that's at least a great thing!! |

I have struggled for so long, but started out fresh this week and ended up with an 8 lbs drop! First decent drop in a very long time. I hope I can keep this going!

I guess I spoke too soon, as I am back up 2 lbs. But I expect them to be gone again after today! Thinking positive thoughts!

Yes, I agree it's great and I am happy. But I just started a new plan, and that's the whoosh you usually get when first starting out, so realize that the losses will not continue to be that good. I am happy to be getting out of the 200s though.

I'm up two pounds, but I believe part of that is due to constipation. That's my excuse, and I'm sticking to it! LOL

I'm also a little constipated, too, WBH. I am flabbergasted that I binged half of last week and am back to where I was last Tuesday WITH constipation! I think moving to OMAD may have been an even better decision than I thought!
