I'm still in TN and still on my Dad's scale which weighs lighter than mine. At first I started out weighing in my pjs, trying to get closer to how heavy my scale would weigh me, but now I'm weighing fully dressed, including shoes, because I think that's even closer. I won't be going home for quite a few days, so we'll see then! :D

I know everybody has busy schedules, so it's certainly understandable that there's no time to write personals, but it's still sad. :( It used to be great fun to come here and read all the daily comments. I'm glad everyone still comes to post their weights though, and if you can stay a few extra minutes, I hope you'll take the time to tell us how you're doing, congratulate someone who has hit a milestone, encourage someone who may be struggling a bit, or just say hi to each other! I just hate to see people slipping away, and they are. GettinFit: I heard of someone else recently who did much better without nuts. Nuts work well for me -- it's always interesting to notice how different we all are in what works best for us. Today is my Carb Day, and Dad and I went to IHOP, yum! I ate 3 (yes 3!) pancakes and 2 sausage links! That was 3 hours ago and I'm still SO stuffed! But bless my Dad's heart, he's 94 and gets around with a cane, but he still insisted in making me brownies today (wouldn't let me do it) because he knows it's my Carb Day and he wanted me to have one of my favorite treats. <3 Full or not, I'm going to have to find room for those!

Gardnerjoy - I know I end up eating more nuts than I should and probably don't count enough Points for them. Once I get started, it's hard to stop with them. I'd probably do better if I ate almonds or walnuts instead of peanuts & cashews. I've been snacking on popcorn for the past 2 weeks since I stopped eating nuts. I had a good day. Raining, oops! I'm sorry! I should have thought about that before posting! On another thread, I'm used to posting what I eat each day, but they're prepared to read about my Carb Day over there. I should be more careful here! I don't want anyone to be tempted to eat foods they shouldn't! :eek: I do think that we can psych ourselves out when it comes to the scale. Many times when I have wanted to reach a certain number, my weight has temporarily stalled. I've always thought there was a correlation! Just hang in there! You're doing great! :dancer:

I'm up after Carb Day but that's to be expected! Hopefully I'll start a descent tomorrow. I go back home on the 14th or 15th and I'm very curious to see what my weight will be on my scale! Hopefully it will be right on target! :goodscale:

I am actually really proud of myself for not feeling the need to weigh myself every day. I try to make good choices every day and then weigh myself every so often to see how it's going. I'm trying to focus on better decisions without worrying about what the scale is doing.
I probably won't reach my goal (as AF) arrived and timing of that and stall outs and ovulation weight gain is going to affect me for the latter part of this month. But. The scale is still going in the right direction and that's all that matters.
