Turtle ~ :woohoo: on the drop.
gordongirl ~ Thanks for the info. Overnight oatmeal? I suppose I will have to google that one. Never heard of it. Glad you enjoyed it to. Congrats on the loss. Regardless if its water or not, its a drop and those are always welcome. So :bravo: on seeing the 170s. boatingmommy ~ I would say definitely water weight. What movie did you guys see? kelijpa ~ :cheer: Keep up the good work. Kudos on the drop. lovelyleah ~ Love the picture. Thanks for sharing. Heres to hoping you see that drop tomorrow. :goodscale: Jacqui ~ Thanks for sharing. Its always enlightening when people share what works and does not work for them. Alright chicks. I have to get out of here. Work calls. I sure hope you ladies have an amazing day. Keep smiling!!!! SW: 237 GW: 227 06/01: 236 06/02: 235 06/03: 235 |
Thanks for the warm welcome ladies and thank you Gardenerjoy for adding my info and goal. :)
Delphi ~ The kids are great, getting giant and eating me out of house and home! Your boys must be getting giant too! My how time flies! [B][/JacquiB] ~ Thank you! :) [B][/BoatingmommyB] ~ Yeah, this past five years has been a struggle. Lots of anger and self loathing thrown into the mix and some days I struggle with not falling back into that, but...I'm trying to just keep my eyes on the prize and keep moving forward. I am so glad to be back here, the ladies here have always been wonderful, but the ladies in the monthly challenges are the BEST!! :) Okay, so here are my stats: June 1: 213 June 2: 212.6 June 3: 212.6 TOM is here so I am blaming the lack of loss and slight gain from 5/31 (was at 212) on him. Managed to get in over 2000 calories yesterday...still couldn't hit the 2400 mark that P90X3 suggests. I just can't eat that much! Besides, like I said, I'm still skeptical that eating that much will actually result in a loss. I haven't been eating that much since January and I've lost just fine, plus I burned more calories working out before I started P90X3. Hmm...I guess I'll give it a couple of weeks and if I see a huge gain I'll go back to the lower calories. I hope everyone is having a fantastic morning! :D |
SW: 185
GW: 182 6/3: 185.8 Delphi Thank you :) I'm off to a big indoor market today so who knows what I'll eat. I mean, who I'll meet. Jacqui_D Thank you!! It's happened so slowly (two years I'd guess), I forget that I've lost that much! |
Good morning everyone!
Leah: your puppy is so cute, she reminds me of my dog that passed away last September. She was old and diabetic. That's when I gained about 20 pounds, the loss was very difficult for me and then her and I use to walk 5 miles every morning. I stopped exercising and starting eating after she passed away, so now I'm her trying to get back on track. Boatingmommy & Gordongirl16: I'm so glad to see other weight watchers members here. I'm doing the old flex method. I had done it years ago and lost a ton of weight. I don't know the new points plus method. Gordongirl16 i don't go to meetings either. There are so many online tools and information, it's easy to follow. Either way ww is a great program. Now let's shed some pounds Good luck to everyone. |
Lovemylife I'm sorry to hear about your dog. We had one pass away in September too. She was only 10 so it was unexpected. We later found out that the dog food we used was recalled and that was most likely the cause.
SW: 206.5 GW: 199.5 6/1 - 206.5 6/2 - 206.5 6/3 - 205.5 - Not a big drop which is actually good. It doesn't reinforce my old ideas and habits that less food leads to bigger drops. Now for breakfast! 6/4 - 6/5 - 6/6 - 6/7 - |
Yay! Dropped a half lb! :dancer:
SW: (203) GW: 6 lbs down CW: (202) 6/1: (203) 6/2: (202.5) 6/3: (202) 6/4: 6/5: 6/6: 6/7: Leah, your puppy is so precious! Oh my goodness, adorable! We had German Shepherds when I was growing up and when they had a litter of puppies, oh my, they were just little balls of fur, so sweet and cuddly. I love German Shepherds. I'm so sorry you lost another dog a few months ago. I did too. My beautiful mastiff got sick and very unexpectedly, we had to put her down. It was heart-breaking. But on to the positive: Congrats on the pound drop and also on the healthy realization that you don't need to severely limit your food intake! :cp: LovemyLife, I am so sorry to hear you lost a dog recently too. I'm glad you are back on track with your health now! Scout, slow and steady is the best way! You are an inspiration! Sandye, P90X3, wow! Now that's dedication! Great job! :bravo: Delphi, you are always so positive on here, and that is just so nice! Turtle, yay on the drop! :carrot: Gordongirl, congrats on hitting the 170's! :yay: Boating, it's just water, no biggie! It will fall off very quickly. Just stick to your plan! :cheer: Keli, aw, thanks, and yay on your drop! :cb: Yes, weekends can be difficult, but you know how to handle them! You can do it! :jig: Joy, the list looks great! Thanks! |
Finally had a moment to check in, which I should do more of because I always leave feeling inspired. I love reading everyone's posts, they really are motivating to me...Thanks! Hope everyone has a great day!

Leah: I'm sorry to hear about your dog as well. It's such a hard thing to deal with. But on a positive note, congrats on your weight loss, that's so awesome.
Jacqui: Thanks so much for your condolences for my dog Misty. She was like my child. Her and I use to walk 5 miles everyday. After she passed I turned into a couch potato, but I've been doing great this week with exercising and weight training. I hope to see some good results when I weigh in again. Fingers crossed:) CakeGirl75: I completely understand dreading the scale, that's why I only weigh in once per week lol I love coming to this Forum, it really helps me to stay motivated. Good Luck to you:) |
I'm joining in a few days late. I was out of town. I would like to lose 10 Lbs. I will weigh in June 4th. SW: 209.4 CW: 209.4 GW: 199.4 Onderland! |
Holy cow my metabolism has kicked in and I am down to 296. I love it when my body does this. I actually pulled out my second scale which is digital and got on it to make sure my other one wasn't broken. hahaha! Time for some happy dancing! :carrot:

Definitely should have said "NO!" to the popcorn. WOW! I don't have to time to write everyone personals today, but looking at all of you that have dropped a pound or more only 4 days into the month is very inspiring! Keep up the good work!:carrot: |
