Ack! I'm .1 from my monthly goal! I knew the weight loss would be fairly quick as I'm only 3 weeks into this reboot, but I didn't expect it to be THIS quick! I'll take it though!!!

Just a quick check-in. I'm leaving soon for a day with my boyfriend, yay! It's been a super stressful morning. We've found fleas in the house, specifically in my room/bed. Not happy. Got a great workout this morning though. Lots of laundry and vacuuming. Now to head out and have some fun!

Hey all. Sorry I haven't really been involved in the conversations at all. Life's been crazy for a bit and I'm just recently putting my foot down on using that as an excuse to put off taking care of myself. So far it's going well weight loss wise, but I still haven't starting exercising as I'd like to. 4.2 more pounds to go to reach my 12 down goal for June. Hope this month is treating y'all well!

Whew! I missed sooooooo much in the last few days! :dizzy: I've been meaning to catch up all week. But I've been super busy trying to get ready for my dinner party. And now I'm in a race to get my goddaughter ready for her high school graduation and party. Yep...it that crazy time of the year.

Congrats to everyone who had a loss this week. And big hugs to anyone who dealt with stress, drama or physical aliments! :grouphug: Hang in there ladies and gents.

I've got to run and try to get a good work out in today. I'll be away a couple days so I'll miss my weigh-in day. So that's going to have to wait till Tues/Wed morning. Here's hoping my impending TOM doesn't screw up my date with the scale. lol.

Checking in with you fine folks. It's back to work tomorrow so will catch up first thing in the morning. Kind of fell off the exercise wagon and need my butt kicked. Gonna get up and get er done in the morning. Sure hope you folks are having a good weekend.

Well, I didn't drop any more weight this week, but I am so happy that I am back down to my low from last week! :carrot:

The other chicks and I who are on the Slow Carb Diet have decided we're going to change the name of "Cheat Day" in our diet because it's a misnomer. The Slow Carb Diet consists of eating slow-burning carbs for 6 days a week and on 1 day eating whatever you want as much as you want, and it actually recommends eating quick-burning carbs, all the usual decadent no-no's. It calls this day Cheat Day. The problem is it's not cheating on this diet. We're following the plan. Therefore, we've decided simply to call it "Carb Day" instead. So from now on, I won't be listing Cheat Day on my daily update here. I'll be listing Carb Day. Oh, and today is my Carb Day! :yay:

Jacqui ~ That sounds like a good idea. I know folks tend to get particular about wording regarding diets, cheats etc. I say, whatever works best for you, then do it.

dangerouscurves76 ~ You and me both. TOM is right around the corner and I just want to squeeze in another few pounds before he starts messing with my scale. Good luck and :congrat: to your granddaughter.

Okay, my weekend was busy. We are still trying to tie up loose ends before we go on vacation in 2 weeks and my man never gets a day off, so we have been trying to get in as much "us" time and our "to do list" time and its all just been really flying by. I imagine next weekend will be busy as well. Going to get the car taken care of and do all our packing etc and do a trial run to see if we can get everything we want to take in the car. (We decided to drive this year instead of flying and I'm starting to think that was a bad idea.) In any case, so my eating and exercise....well.. ya see...it was not the best but not the worst. I think I really need to sit down and tackle some goals and as much as I hate it, do a little planning (as I did last time) and put a little extra effort in. I tell my boys all the time, you get out of life, what you put in it...and I believe I need to take that advice. So, heres to the start of a brand new week for me and a Happy Sunday to you fine folks.

JacquiD: I like Carb Day much better. Are you a motor sports fan? The Friday before the Indianapolis 500 is Carb Day -- traditionally the day that the carburetors were adjusted to race day configuration. There haven't been carburetors in the race cars since 1963, but the last practice session is still called Carb Day!

I was a little frustrated to not see the scale drop this morning because I'm so close to my goal I just want to get there!! But then I looked at the bigger picture and I've lost 3 lbs in a week. That's really good! That's part of the issue with daily weigh-ins that I lose track of the bigger picture. But I also like to see patterns and you always need more data for that.

Hi Everyone...wasn't able to check in this week as much as I planned. I am having a problem with my password, and am unable to check in from my mobile devices now. I have to wait until I can get to my home computer, which hasn't been easy this week. I didn't have much of a loss this time and I have been struggling with water retention this week...also TOM...ugh! Enjoyed reading through the posts, I feel like I missed a lot.
