Well, I was super busy over the weekend. Which, I'm off of work on Friday and Saturday, so my weekend starts just a little sooner than most. In any case, I was really active, getting our flowers out and such but we made a trip to theaters this weekend (age of ultron) and then we took boys out for ice cream yesterday. So, instead of starting this challenge with a bang, I just managed to not gain any weight. No deficits at all. I just managed to not go over my calories to actually gain anything. So, here I am starting the week out right and I'm gonna go out this week with a bang. Sure hope you guys handled the weekend better than I did.

I always think it is a very good thing, not gaining. It shows you how easy it is in the future just to maintain your weight with no real big effort And it is good for the morale not to work so bloody hard all the time and not to get too obsessed with the weight loss. Keeps you sane.
You did well!
I had same kind of weekend, had a Indian takeaway (Hopefully I did the healthy choices, I always have a side not a main with no rice) and went out for a lunch yesterday and today. Had plate full of veggies with hummus for dinner so hopefully I didn't eat too many calories!
It's hard to judge when eating out.
Anyway...it was a national day off today so week really starts tomorrow, so I'm ready to do it all over again. One day at the time

Oooh, they allowed me to have a ticker! Whoo!
I'm not going to weigh myself until Friday before I get rid of all the weekend food Lets see if I can do it, I am an obsessive weigher.

Oh, I forgot. You have to wait a while before they let you put in a ticker..eh? My thinking is in line with yours. I am hopeful by weeks end, I will have lost all that excess water I am retaining. I really need that scale to start cooperating with me. I'm also getting really tired of my cardio routine. I would really like to go out to the greenway and start walking/running again but I just do not have a lot of time in the morning to get out there. I do have a treadmill but I absolutely LOATHE it. I believe I would rather take a bath in flesh-eating bacteria than spend 60 minutes on my treadmill..lol. Not really!! In any case, I am trying to figure it out especially now it is so nice. In the high 80s here now, so its just perfect. At any rate, sure hope you guys are staying on plan and having fun.

I quite started to dislike the treadmill too and just after 4 months! I think the right thing is to alternate the treadmill and outside running. My treadmill was in the gym so I had to cycle there 10 mins, put my stuff away and that meant it took me 20 minutes to get exercising. What I love about running outside, I just step out of the door and it starts! I just run the streets, sometimes just zig zaging...and I can take a different route every time so I don't get bored.

I also got myself a heart rate monitor and use a running app to keep myself interested and motivated. HRM says exactly how many calories I have burnt and also makes sure I don't over exercise. When I started running without it, I always used to get a really bad headache. But with the HRM I have realised it just came from my heart rate being up through the roof! So my blood pressure was dangerously high and that made me feel bad.
I guess you know all this, you ran marathons!
Running is good, clears your head...couldn't do it without music though

Oh yeah, this is going to be perfect for me. I am DYING to get out of the 300's and only have 7 pounds to go so let's hope it doesn't take me 4 weeks to do it but with the way my body sometimes goes on holiday from losing weight, ya never know.

JenDestiny. Glad to have you aboard.

Pop ~ I'm in the market for another tracker. I have a BodyMedia but the company was bought out by the people who make the UP devices and they are not supporting the device hardly at all. So, I've been looking. I was looking to buy the apple watch but I am waiting for more reviews to come out and for apple to get the bugs out before I jump on that bandwagon.

In any case, I did manage to get my cardio in this morning and yesterday was successful as far as calories in/out, so I'm good. Still waiting on this water weight to get the heck out of here though. The scale just will not budge. Perhaps, like last month, I'll finally just get a whoosh and it will just fall off. We have a renassiance festival going on this month, so I think we might go to that this weekend and get some walking under my belt.

Sure hope you guys have a wonderful day. I'm off to work. Have fun.
