GW: 198 big fat rooster: Wow that takes a lot of motivation to do what you did.... awesome! I myself feel every bone in my body these days. I feel like I walk crooked for the first hour I wake up because my back is always sore, which makes it hard for me to even think about exercising! Must push on though. I think I will have to get myself on the scale in the morning to make sure I am still on track too.. 2/9: 204 2/10: 202 2/11: 202 2/12: 201 2/13: 202 2/16: 202 -2 2/17: 202 2/18: No Weigh 2/23: |
Tinajayne:
"B F R: Wow that takes a lot of motivation to do what you did.... awesome!" Tina, I was younger then and had much better will power and all, +, I saw results fast so motivation was no problem. I lost more in the those two months than I did in almost a year of this last weight loss, which I intend not need to repeat. This one has taken so long my motivation is not that much anymore, especially since I originally only intended to get to about the weight I am now. Those last 18 lbs I intend on losing I believe will be very difficult and hopefully worth it. I have been watching Kelipja struggle with her losing this past year and a half. BTW, Kel, great job, I see you losing fast this month :) I like that a lot, gives me hope :) Tina: "I myself feel every bone in my body these days. I feel like I walk crooked for the first hour I wake up because my back is always sore, which makes it hard for me to even think about exercising!" Yes, I absolutely agree with you. A bad back or knees, or other arthritic problems throw a huge handicap on get ridding of the weight. However, it also is absolutely worth it. You will notice your back problems being less every 10 or so lbs you get off. My back problems are practically non existent now, but was awful when I started. Same with my feet. I think it was Jacquie and Mrs. Snark who told me it would get much better and they were certainly correct. Tina: "Must push on though." Yes, you must keep on, but if you can, you would be much better off doing your exercise in a swimming pool until the back problems subside. If your back hurts bad when doing something, think twice about doing it. Though nowadays they can fix many back problems they cannot fix them all. Persistently doing things that cause excess pain will add to your injury and make it much more difficult, if possible, to heal. Exercising in water takes the weight off and allows you to exert your muscles toning them, burning fat, building muscle while not having that pain which weight brings us. Hang in there, we are all pulling for ya B F R |
Wow, seeing a whole lot of people losing weight. Good going, everyone! :broc:
