Which would be awesome if I wasn't trying to lose lol Aiming for 176 by the end of June. A smaller goal, but any movement down would make me happy! I'm averaging a pound per month. Yeesh. |
Its almost the end of August and I realized I haven't updated in months! Where is everyone? How is your year going?

I did get down around 175 this month but just didn't stay there. My measurements are down though! Maybe next month the scale will reflect :) Hope everyone is having a great year. |
Wow, the end of another month! A much more successful one for me. Woohoo! I did get down a little lower this month, but I'm sure I'll get right back there soon. Either way, it was my best month of the year!

NNS, I am joining you in this thread. I feel I have accomplished a lot since I restarted the beginning of May and I am hoping to do more until the end of the year. Here are my weights since I started:

Another good month! I certainly won't be catching up to my goal but I'm happy to be losing consistently again. So close to a new decade after being in the 170s all year!!

Had to weigh in on an old analog scale because we are closing up the trailer at the river for the winter, but still happy with my progress.

I have seriously cut back on exercise but my appetite was still raging, so it is understandable! I haven't been able to up the exercise too much so far in December and I don't expect to, but I already feel like my appetite is more under control. I will focus on losing weight through my diet for the rest of the year. A slow loss year for me, but I am still proud of myself. I'm closing in on three years into this journey and not only have I lost over 60 pounds, I also haven't had any serious gains in that time. If I lose 3 pounds by the end of December, I can reach a nice round 15 pounds for the year! |

You should be proud, too. Losing 60 lbs is nothing to sneeze at and you kept on trying and didn't gain. That's a real accomplishment. Hope you hit your end of December goal. I am rooting for ya! :cheer2: |

Finally posting my end-of-year recap! Overall, a great year in terms of my overall health and fitness, even if the numbers here don't seem like much. I ran my first (two) 5K races after I began running in March, hiked two 14,000+ foot mountain peaks, and started biking a lot. 2016 should be a fantastic year and I think losing the final 21.4 pounds should come a lot easier than last year :)

In some areas, I even gained inches throughout the year before it came back off! I guess it's just my body readjusting and muscle growth, etc. |
