Started Week 5 of C25K and need prayers for Friday!!! Yesterday was FAR easier than I thought it would be but I'm a bit concerned about tomorrow. I am SO out of shape. Friday will be a killer though. I may end up just parking on that workout for a few times before trying to move on. We shall see. Almost down to my low that I saw on Christmas! Still trying to make up for lost time over the last few weeks. About 7.5 more pounds and I will be HALF WAY to my goal!!! And some of my clothes are FINALLY getting too big to wear! I don't really want to go shopping and spend money on clothes that I am working to shrink out of, though. I meant to go to the Goodwill store the first Saturday of the month but I forgot. Oh well, maybe next month. Rennie, it's great how God orchestrates things so that we get just what we need, just when we need it!!! I know that, as I was going out of church Sunday, there was a lady that told me that I sure looked like I was losing weight. There have only been a couple of people that didn't know I was on a diet that have said anything. Oh, that did so much for my spirits! She almost fainted when I told her that I had lost about 50 pounds! Thank you, Lord, for that little nudge! |

I am glad to get out of 2014. 2015 is the new year. I want to get into onderland. I plan to get back into wogging.(walk/jogging) going to walk in January then start c25k. I also want to get stronger in my yoga and start weightlifting.
January goals. Walk 5 days a week. Weightlift 2 days a week. Yoga weekly class and 1-2 days practice on my own. Plank challenge. Meditate 5 minutes daily. Eat 5 colors/day and track calories, no more soda. Lose 6 lbs this month. A small update...
My back is doing fantastic. One of the vertaraes is completely healed and the other about 80%. Dr is very impressed with my progress. She says I am healing like a 20 year old. The second vertabrae should be completely healed in 10-14 days, which means this whole fusing process only took 8 weeks. -- The bones still be weak and I have to be cautious with my movements. Today is a big day; I am finally going to walk outdoors! And I am very excited! Hubby is going with me to "control" the doggie. If she were to yank me in a leash, I could re-injure my back. I will also wear my crampons, and they are heavy duty ones with big spikes. Loving life, and appreciative! |
