Goal for 2015 - what will you accomplish
How about doing a yearly goal challenge?... It is open to anything that you wish to accomplish for this 1 year period... Or from when you decide to start and to end 12/31/14. Keep track as often as you wish. No rules. Daily, weekly, monthly or just 1/1 AND 12/31 What ever you wish! The time will pass.. wouldn't it be great to make a difference in your life?! My goal for this year is to get well under Onderland. I have not weighed less than 200 for almost 3 decades and I would love to wear clothes off the rack. My other goal is to exercise walk at least 200 times this year!

Hello wannaskipandlaugh, I lost 60 pounds back in 2012 when I became a memeber of this site. It took me approx 8 months. I then hit a wall of depression and gained 80 pounds. I am just getting into the right mindset to start over and become the person I was when I lost the wieght before. This site has been a great alli. With thT being said, I am going to set my goal for 2015 to be at the wieght I was in august of 2012, which was 170. A total loss of approx 80 pounds. Is that reasonable? I would even settle for the size I was wearing then.

I weighed in this morning (12/31/14) at 234.8. That's only .2 less than I was on Thanksgiving and 4.4 pounds heavier than I was on Christmas morning. Not sure what all (other than TOM) is going on but I have to just take it and move on from here. It wasn't were I dreamed of starting my year but it's still 46.6 lbs less than I was in August!
Ok, in 2015 I WILL get to the 75 lbs lost mark and then sail on past it! In 2015 I WILL get into ONDERLAND! I would LOVE to get to goal weight but I'm not sure that will happen. But, I will do my best, get as close as I can and bask in the joy of my accomplishments in the coming year! In 2015 I WILL be able to run a 5k.....if I actually DO one is still not clear but I WILL be able to do it! In 2015 I WILL be forced to do some clothes shopping! In 2015 I WILL exercise..... feel like it or not! And I WILL increase my water in-take. In 2015 I WILL become an example to my kids! |

Stlrsgrl43... Welcome to you! I bet you can do whatever you set your mind to do. Just believe it! As to the walking.. You can count whatever you wish. My list was just something I wanted to keep track off. This thread is for you to keep track of what you want to keep track of. I am keeping track of just Times Walked (for exercise purposes) and putting the total at the end of the month. You can keep track of miles... steps.... running...elliptical etc... whatever you wish :) We will all cheer you on! wannaskip- I had to get a new user name because I'm getting so old I forgot my info from last time I was here. When I came back I couldn't remember anything about it.. user name, email I used and password all slipped my mind. I finally remembered my username but can't get back in.. You will remember me I hope. I was Only Believe.. I was right there with ya working hard. Got down from 295 to 231... then it all went down hill from there LOL or should I say up hill? Which ever way it went I found myself weighing 280.8 on Monday. I've been back to it and this morning I was 276.4, so here I go again. Starting over. Hi everybody! Sounds like you guys all have some wonderful goals :)
I'll add my tracking information later, but I want to get my goals down here, so that I feel committed to them. I would love to reach my final goal this year. Roughly 57-58 lbs. If I lose consistently 5 lbs. per month, I'll meet it by the end of the year. I would also love to complete C25K. Doing an actual 5K would be amazing, but as long as I complete c25k I would consider my goal reached. I've thought about it for a couple of years now I guess, but I always fall off the wagon because I focus too much on the length of time running at the end of the program. If I can just focus on 1 day at a time, maybe I can make it. I would also like to do a detox cleanse twice this year. Those are my goals for now. I"m sure I'll add more later. |

My main goal is to be at least 140 if not at goal by the end of the year. I too would love to actually complete C25K. I have tried/attempted it for 3 years now and have stopped/given up each time. I also need to get my water intake back up to what it use to be. I just completed week 3 and I'm convinced that IF I make it through next week, week 5 will kill me! LOL! No matter how long it takes me to complete it, I WILL do it. If only to prove to myself that I can!

Madison: even if you have to repeat a few weeks stay at it. It is a 9 week training but totally worth it.

Thanks Carma, good to see you :hug: Mine is water weight also but I still count it as a victory and it makes me :D Pink Hurricane, good to see you also :hug: repeating what I said to Carma about water weight :) We are kicking weights hinny with this week :high: and I have had a hiccup each night most of the week :shrug: cake, pizza, chips trying to pull it back in before I mess up two much. I also need to get back to the gym. |

I am glad to get out of 2014. 2015 is the new year. I want to get into onderland. I plan to get back into wogging.(walk/jogging) going to walk in January then start c25k. I also want to get stronger in my yoga and start weightlifting.

Ok, I'm curious about what everyone is doing as far as exercise.
I haven't been to water aerobics (MUCH EASIER ON THE KNEES!) since the beginning of Dec but plan to start back on Monday. I am also in week 4 of C25K but I'm looking to add something to condition my upper body, arms and abs.....at least that's where I want to start. Just looking for suggestions from people that will tell you the good, the bad and the ugly. Down another .2 this morning! Hoping to keep it going but I'm going out to dinner, tonight. I'll stay OP and not go crazy but the sodium is an issue. Gonna see some water weight come back, I'm sure. But, as long as that's all it is, I think I can handle it. Remind me of that when I'm crying over it!!! But, it's a much needed date night with my hubby! |
A little late to the party but I am in! This year I would like to get into Onederland! That gives me a need to lose 109 pounds over the rest of the year. I have started going back to the gym and started getting more exercise and also am being more careful of what I am eating. I am down 8 pounds since my last doctors office visit (end of November) so it is a bit of a start. My scale does not register my weight right now so I checked at the gym yesterday for my start weight. My scale last showed me a number at 304 so I am close to seeing regular numbers there!

Jb 1975 I have just been walking and doing yoga. Yoga is great upper body work. You spend a lot of the class in downward dog. :) I plan on c25k in a month.

Look at everyone go!!! School starts up again next week for me. I planned my schedule so I can get up and get to the school gym at 8ish and work out and have time to shower before 10am classes m-th. The following week the classes start and I want to do 2-3 a week as well. Time to get my butt into gear exercise-wise, no excuses!
