I am down half a lb to 175.5! I don't know how long will stick. I suspect I'll be heading back up to 177 one more time, but I'm thrilled with it all the same! :trampo:

Darius - pants news! Such a stressful thing to go through. Twelve years is a long time and it must feel like a big loss. Take care and take time to adjust - oh and try to avoid comfort eating (is that just me !?)
Jacqui - maybe 177 is behind you at last? I've got a good feeling for you. 183 - crossfit sounds fun, I don't have it at my gym but I'm always looking for new things. I'm leaving my job at the end if December and will have a bit of time for my next challenge. Any good ideas?! yesterday's calories: 1800 yesterday's exercise: 80min run (11k) today's weigh-in: 77,6kg (171lbs) change: no change Good morning you guys :) It's the 6th of December - in Germany we call this Nikolaustag :) The night before, you leave your shoes outside your door, if you've been good that year, it will be filled with treats, if not, a twig. Since I don't live with my parents anymore, I refrained from putting my shoes out this year ;) I know we don't talk about this kind of stuff on here, but Nelson Mandela died :( I lived in South Africa, so I know the impact he had on people's lives. His death is a big loss for the world. I found this on my facebook feed this morning though: 'You be the next Mr Mandela who looses theirself for the welbeing of others.' the English isn't the best, but I really liked the message :) Anyways, I myself have an exam later this afternoon. My first one this semester, so I'm quite anxious. But I studied, and that's about as much as can be done ;) Will be fine. NightAngel26 3lbs over night is a really nice woosh! Well done! darius I am SO SO sorry you are being let go at your job :( terrible news before Christmas :( Hope you find something else soon. pnkrckpixikat haha, yeah, I actually did look up the worse choices' calorie counts, and that made me happy. The thing is, the Christmas fair is only once a year, so I don't want to refrain from everything totally, I think it's about making conscious choices. Also -- nice drop! :D Jacqui_D It's going down! Nice :) Minneey Crossfit really is fun. In my city, it's a whole gym just for it; but I'm not sure how it works because I take a class from school so I always go at the same time. It's really challenging, I enjoy it, and I definitely recommend it. You need to find out for yourself though, because it really depends on the gym and the trainer. I feel the same way as you though! If I have a taste of something, I feel like I need to eat all of it!! That's why I only buy treats in single-serving portions. Happy Friday everyone :) |
