Good to see you back, Sum!!!

Okay, I officially really-really-really-dislike exercise ("hate" is such a strong word), lol! I wish I had a better attitude toward it. It seems like it would make it so much easier. Of course, I am very grateful to be able to do it, especially considering I have rheumatoid arthritis, but I just don't like it. It's like being grateful for having a job but you don't really like the job. I try, but exercise for me is a chore, pure and simple. It doesn't seem so bad when I'm able to get outside and walk in nice weather, but that's as good as it gets, "not so bad," lol! That is why I am so thankful for this challenge! Without this challenge, you can bet your sweet bippy that I would not be exercising, and I need to exercise. I know I don't do much, but with my condition, mild to moderate exercise on the days I am physically able to do it is important. So there is my confession, I said it, I don't like to exercise!

Jacqui_D: have you learned enough of Leslie's moves to do them on your own? A lot of my "dance" these days is done while watching Once Upon a Time stream on Netflix. I only allow myself to watch while exercising or working on a filing chore that I put off too long -- so those two things get done because I get in the mood to see my show more than because I actually want to do them.

Gardnerjoy: I should seriously think of doing that for added exercise. I know enough of those moves to get by. As far as my goals I am still going to shoot for 2000 minutes but will be happy to get 1750 for the month.

Jackie D: So let me get this straight you hate exercise? LOL. I am glad you recognize the need to exercise with your Rheumatoid. So many people don't. Have you ever thought of mixing it up with a water aerobics class? It's easier on the joints.

The last few days have been rough! I have been so busy at work and have let my exercise time fall behind the last few days. The only positive is I have been running around at work and staying pretty active there. I am going to have to get some 3 mile walks in to catch up. Hopefully when I get home tonight!

Just found out that their is going to be a 2nd Piloxing class on Monday nights starting in December. My husband said he didn't care if I go for a 2nd night a week. I could also sneak in a yoga class afterwards. Hmmm, might be a solution to keep the pounds off in December.

Jackie D: Just don't go to crazy in the water. I remember taking the class one time and thinking oh this is a piece of cake and really getting a good workout in. The next day I was in pain because I forgot that I was weightless in the water and didn't realize how hard I had worked my muscles.
